Hell nah. Im not giving up Herro and pick for PJ Washington and Gordon Hayward washed ass. Gordon Hayward can't finish a season and he's on the decline. Whatever you think of Herro, I'd bet his next 5 years are gonna be a whole lot better than Hayward or PJ Washington. Hornets are a play in team for a reason

Yea trading for Hayward is selling super low on Herro unless you’re getting a lot of unprotected picks back to send off for a star since interest in Herro seems to be lower than expected. With haywards contract and picks they could be a potential 3rd team partner in a deal to bring us in a star but other than that nothing makes sense involving Herro unless we’re somehow getting Lamelo back

Hornets would have to attach a future 1st to move Hayward. Absolutely no reason to involve Herro in that. Heck, Hornets would probably trade Hayward for Duncan, Deadman and a future 2nd.

The crazy part is that even the Hornets would reject that trade because it’s not worth it for them, forget about them adding a pick.

Homerism no, but I am banking on Oladipo after having the correct surgery and finally having a real offseason to work on his game while healthy to get him back to being a very good player. I'm just hoping\expecting to see OKC version of Oladipo although I can hope his offense will be better since he did progress as a scorer since his time in OKC which was mostly because of that off the dribble 3pt shot he got better at which opened up his game more.

I do have some concerns with Oladipo looking at this ORTG and DRTGs but have a high belief in a really good coach like Spoelstra maximizing him as a 2 way player.

Even an OKC Oladipo would require an elevated Bam to contend. Do you think he’s up for that? Can he be a legit all around top 10-12 guy or do you think he’ll be the “best defender in the world” with hot and cold offense

Miami was a shot away from the Finals with Lowry and Herro hurt which hurt the quality of the rotation, I don't think it's going to take all that much more to be legit contender. Miami lost Tucker who was great defensively, not so much offensively and Miami should have a better version of Strus, Vincent, Herro and Oladipo. Oladipo showed the ability to be a high impact defensive player in the playoffs, if he can give average to solid offensive numbers that a huge upgrade for the team over last year's squad when he was at most a defensive roleplayer.

1 shot away from the finals under 2022 circumstances, next year will be different. Every year is different.

It exposes the organization to one or more lawsuits. It's also possible that the relationship resulted in Udoka securing a position, a promotion, or a raise, for his sidepiece.

It must be more than is being made public because Udoka's employment with the team beyond this season is in question.

Here comes a thought from the Twilight Zone. Is it time for new Ownership?
I think it is. The current owner has seen his company's stock drop to $9 levels, down from $71 in 2018.
The talk of Haslem seeking ownership must be quickly put to rest & it's time to seek an ownership group that can afford to pay salaries and not get wrapped up in their own culture.

Edit: I think Micky owns those $9 lol

End of sentence.

UD couldn't afford 1% of the Heat. He would have to form an ownership group just to be able to afford that 1%.

And yeah our owner doesn't appear to have nearly the deep pockets that some others around the NBA have or that he used to have, but we've been too successful to start making noise about a new owner.

I mean I wouldn't mind it, but it's not like Arison is a crazy cheap owner and last thing we need is a Loria type guy coming in.

I'm more so curious about our sponsor, FTX, and if they can fullfill their contract for naming rights the way the crypto market has been hit this year.

Absolutely but the defense should be nearly as strong(although getting a 2 way PF type should be a priority) and switching out Tucker as the 5th best offensive player with currently Strus, Martin or Robinson is a nice offensive upgrade which should also diversify the offense more as they are players who doesn't just sit in the corners.

The only real concern I have is the starting forward spot opposite of Butler that needs to to be able to defend or put up a good fight against low post PF/Cs, outside of that this roster is currently good enough to have a weak but legit chance to win a championship... much like the 3 previous years where they were they have been swept in the first round, got to the ECF and went 6 games in the NBA Finals with 2 of their top 3 guys injured.
