So Darnell Jackson is traded to Cle for a 2009 2nd round pick???? Kinda dissapointing given that Jackson would give the Heat a good backup type PF.

I think we keep Haslem now.

Our depth Chart:
PG: Chalmers / Banks / Quinn
SG: Wade / Cook
SF: Marion / Wright / Powell
PF: Beasley / Haslem / Lasme
C: Blount / Zo / Anthony

ESPN's Ric Bucher said after the draft that he could see the Heat trading Michael Beasley to Memphis for O.J. Mayo.

God I hate Bucher.

Per Wiretap: Darnell Jackson traded to Cleveland for the lower of their 2009 2nd round picks.

I could see Ric Bucher's future... it involves writing several trade proposals between Miami and Memphis.

This (quite simply) can't happen. At least not easily.

Memphis is getting Mayo in a package involving a TON of players. By rule, those players can't be repackaged for a long time.

Mind you, Mayo himself can indeed be repackaged (since it's just his "rights" that were traded) but none of the other guys the Grizz got in the deal can be repackaged. So it would be next-to-impossible to put together a deal with Miami, unless it was soemthing simple like Mayo+1st for Beasley. Plus Mike Miller's no longer there, who Riles had a boner for, so where's the incentive?

I just don't see it.
