I don't see how Lewis affects Ray.... no way in hell we're considering Lewis for more than the vet minimum. If Ray doesn't come, then that has to go to Camby.

Personally, even if we get Ray I'd go for Lewis. We could use his spacing at PF especially if Bosh is seeing more C minutes next season.

I didn't know Delonte was a free agent. If all fails I wouldn't mind him on the team. Though I bet Riley wouldn't touch him just because of his IQ/off the court issues.

LeBron would never allow that...his mom on the other hand would be in favor of this move

Delonte would be a great addition. Whether you believe him or not, Delonte denied that ever happened.

Really now, I was hoping being board banned from the GB meant I didn't have to read crap like that anymore.

If he doesn't commit to us tonight there's no doubt in my mind he stays with Boston.

No way he leaves here without a deal and ends up here.

The only good about this is that he's staying overnight in Miami... at least he's not flying to Boston or any other city for that matter

Ray - I need to see how to convince these guys to pay for my trip back to Boston (admitted sarcasm)

Not like the Heat can offer anything creative. Just the mini MLE.

Maybe he's enjoying the nice weather in Miami, trying to get Riles hopes up. Lol. 8-)

True. In addition, he was supposed to be going to LA but there's no longer any point in that. It's not like he has anywhere to go anymore, why rush off when he just got here? He can leave tomorrow since there's no longer another meeting to catch. I wouldn't read into this.

I'm cautious about this. I want to see a signature.

MIAMI -- A person familiar with the situation says free agent guard Ray Allen visited the NBA champion Miami Heat at their home arena Thursday.

Allen is at the top of Miami's free agent list. Allen plans to stay in Miami until Friday, the person told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because no details of the meeting were publicly revealed.

The Heat can only offer Allen the mini mid-level exception worth about $3 million for this season. Allen has spent the last five seasons with the Boston Celtics, who have offered the NBA's 3-point field goal leader a $12 million, two-year deal.

Miami has ousted Boston from the NBA playoffs in each of the last two seasons. Allen averaged 14.2 points for Boston this past season.
