You guys think either of these happen?

A- opts out of CHI deal next season, returns
B- returns last year of career (whenever that may be) to finish off in Miami

Lol whats the point of him returning at 37. He should retire after his bulls contract imo.

He put in a lot of years and 3 championships. Can' t hate the dude. I'm not sure if he'll finish his career in his home state (I don't think they really like him that much lol). I can see him coming back like Zo did if we contend soon or teaming up with his friends some place else before his career ends. Miami will always be his house.

Love you D

Wouldn't give a phuck about basketball if it wasn't for you.

Glad you're getting the money we couldn't give you, but I would have preferred you go to Denver to get over 50 mil.

Copy and pasting what I wrote on FaceBook since my soul is too drained to write another response. I cannot believe that the athlete who I grew up with and got me into basketball is gone. This feels like a nightmare.

My childhood hero and favorite sports figure of all time has succumbed to the cut throat business that is sports.
I am privileged to have watched his entire career in Miami and will be there when his jersey goes up in the rafters. I remember the day when my god mother ran into the entire Heat team at Baptist following the 2006 championship and was able to get Wade's autograph in the elevator on a piece of paper. I have that in a glass box on my book shelf, and it will certainly be framed next to a Wade jersey one day in the future.
It is what it is. Pat Riley and Wade bumped heads. As you saw with the Lakers and Kobe. You can't take care of old superstars and still have flexibility.
MJ left the bulls. Brett Favre left the Packers. Peyton Manning left the Colts. Hell, even Zo left the Heat for a while before coming back. And that was after Glenn Rice, the best player Miami had for a while, was traded by Riley when he came down here.
Sports is so complex. We can talk about LeBron poisoning the well, if Riley really should have pushed hard for KD, and how the hell Wade didn't see it coming, fully understanding the Heat's cap situation. But, here we are.
If you burn Wade's jersey, you should be banned from everywhere. The AAA, Marlins Park, Sunlife Stadium, the BankUnited Center, FIU's stadium, Metro Zoo, Miami Subs...you get the point.
Again, semantics can be argued, and that is what the next months will be used for in local sports. But tonight is not the time to do that.

This is dumb. Shame on Wade and Riley for not getting this done.

Makes complete sense if his marriage is over, back home to his family. Guess he didn't want the statue and the Dan Marino treatment, seems like a lot to give up.

This man made got me into the NBA and Heat basketball. 13 years watching this team, starting from when I was 10 years old. 23 now, time flies.

My most favourite player ever. A joy to watch, and I wish him nothing but success in his life going forward.

I won't watch the Bulls other than the first game they play in Miami. Can't bring myself to watch Wade in a non Heat uniform. It just won't feel right.

Hopefully Justise and Josh take huge leaps next season, and are the next superstars of this franchise.

Ugh I feel so sad right now

It happened...my favorite player of all-time just left the Heat...No words. It's going to be a dark place in Wade county. One thing for sure, I'm never going to burn his jersey, I appreciate everything he has done; whether it was when he first got drafted by the Heat and balled out in the Playoffs during his rookie year in '03, formed a mega-duo with Shaq and dominated in '04-'05, when he put his team on his back and won our 1st championship in Heat history in '06, destroyed his shoulder and knees in '07-'08, bounced back with a vengeance and had his best seasons of his career in '09-'10, helped organized the greatest Big 3 in recent history and won multiple championships from '11-'14, and still proving everybody that he still got it despite his age and attrition from '15 to the present. It was an incredible ride and it was a true pleasure to watch. Despite it all, I firmly believe his chapter with the Heat organization isn't over. Right now, it was all emotion with his decision but deep down he knows where his real home is. We will retire his jersey and even build a statue in front of the stadium when the time comes. Thank you, Dwyane Tyrone Wade, you will be missed. But it's still HEAT NATION! ‪#‎StillMV3‬ ‪#‎StillWadeCounty‬ ‪#‎StillMyGOAT‬ ‪#‎ButDontGetItTwisted‬ ‪#‎StillHeatoverEverybody‬

No kidding. This is a bigger surprise to me than Durant honestly.

This move has left me stunned.

Even for me as a non Heat fan it's hard to believe.
I expected Wade to be like Dirk as far as being a superstar HOF'er that only plays for one team.
Wade had accepted less money during the past, not like Dirk has, but he still accepted less, and yet Wade walks from Miami's offer.
Sad day, but from a business standpoint, the two parties (Wade and Ownership) failed to see eye to eye.

Is Wade to blame? I believe the ownership and management is to blame.

He'll almost definitely still get a statue. Still, his exit ended up much uglier than it should have.

Thanks Dwyane Wade!!! It all started from that game winning shot vs Charlotte in 2004 playoff!!!

You brought me to Miami... Its a shame that it ended on this note!!! good luck and I guess this is where we parted ways...
