Tayshawn Prince
Rip Hamilton
Chauncey Billups

Who was the generational talent there?

There was none, but there was 5 guys who could make legit claim to a bench all-star position (strength of which depending on who's in the conference). Rip & Tay were the weakest two claims, yet Rip was an amazing system scorer in the Reggie mould, and Tay was a great versatile defender who could keep you honest on the other end.

As a unit they were balanced & had everything needed to succeed in that era.

Daffy, your avatarless profile is giving me a headache. Put the duck on there or let Iggs do his magic.

You're not talking to Daffy but here it is

Mark my words... this team, as presently assembled, is going to surprise the collective media and fanbase critics when it plays much better than any of them ever expected.

only reason that they even won in 2004 is because Kobe chose to wreck the Lakers in that Finals and Malone went down with injury

Kobe refused to let Shaq win the finals mvp again, and started chucking shots even when Phil Jackson was telling him to stop.

True... but they still made it to six straight Eastern Conference Finals appearances and back-to-back NBA Finals.

_ustise really needs to do something about that mop. I'm willing to believe there's some credibility to that theory about wild hairdos affecting jumpshot mechanics lol

He acts very professional. Too bad he doesn't try to look it as well. Bosh did when he got here. He needs to as well.

He look great to me.... and I'm a 40 something suburbia living white guy....

I get your point.... I guess... but I'm one who was disappointed when UD changed his look

The regular season and the playoffs are two different animals Mars. Honestly like Pat most of us don’t give a rats ass about the regular season, it’s all about trying to get a ring and how we perform in the postseason. Do you see this team going far in the playoffs as currently constructed? Their is a reason basically every year Pat is going after stars...

Are we calling him generational now?

Maybe I'm just to bitter to accept the facts about Dirk

As far as offense for the PF position I'd say he's generational. Every PF in the league needs to be able to shoot either long range 2's or 3's now. Dirk pioneered that style of play for big men.
