Hell nah. They just a notch above the Marlins. Team owners dont want to spend. They still paying the price from being tied to madoff. Was hoping they would try to bring Bruce back but doesnt look like that's going to happen. I heard a rumor about Donaldson being shopped. Why would the Jays want to trade the bringer of rain?

That's too bad man. That Mets rotation has looked so good on paper the past couple of years, sucks that injuries screwed them over though. Considering that the Nats are the only decent team in that division right now, Mets can easily rack up some easy division wins if they field a decent roster.

Jays are likely headed for a rebuild next year. Current roster isn't good enough to compete against the Red Sox and a loaded Yankees team. Donaldson is a UFA next season and already 32, so he probably doesn't fit a rebuild window even if he's willing to re-sign. If they don't end up moving him this offseason, I think he's gone by the trade deadline along with the other veterans if the team has a slow start. The only reason why management hasn't pulled the plug already is because the Jays led the AL in attendance last year, and the team doesn't want to alienate the fanbase by doing a fire sale this early.

Yeah peli, byke to bykes are rough for pregame chit chats, but hey this GT is almost caught up to chalm's pre tip off page count at 4.5.

Btw can you believe that Raps and Heets don't play their FIRST game until early January?? That GT better be lit, I'll make sure of it.

You don't try to beat the Pelicans with expectations of holding AD and Cousins to less than 50 points combined. You try to outscore them(#2 in points allowed per game this season).
