no, that's because he has no place in this convo. It's simple.

It’s an absurd argument, when the heat formed there was still a sense of mystery in how it would work from a basketball standpoint and then they lost to Dallas. The game 7 I just watched proved how unbearable this team is and the only thing I see changing that is fatigue from winning and playing more games

Knowing what we know now, that 2011 Finals loss was the best thing to happen to the Heatles. It's the series that I refuse to watch because of how frustrating it is, but it was a wake up call for everybody. We had something special on our hands, but we knew better than to take it for granted.

The "Your Turn, My Turn" offense between LeBron and Wade wasn't going to work, especially with the unfortunate ankle and knee injuries waiting for Wade over the next couple of years. Getting humbled by a miracle run from Dirk isn't the worst thing in the world, especially when Mark Cuban's hubris killed his championship team in record time.

Wade and LeBron might've been feeling themselves too much that first year. As two of the best players in the world, the attitude was justified, but getting embarrassed in The Finals forced them to reflect on who they were and what they were trying to build. The lack of proper depth and shooting doomed Year 1, but it set the stage for Years 2 & 3.

The Splash Bros Warriors were dominant, but fair.
KD replacing Harrison Barnes was the equivalent of the Heatles getting Orlando Dwight Howard. It would've been funny in an exhibition game or the Olympics, but dealing with it on the regular is totally nonsense.

Funny that I was studying about impotence last night right around when Harden was putting the Rockets on his back.

Thats one way of looking at it. Another perspective is it reinforced just how idiotic it was to give the keys to Spo. Pat coaching that team get the respect he has earned. Rightfully Lebron didnt listen to Spo just like Wade didnt listen or Bosh. Remember the inmates running the asylum statement. To this day the level of disgust in not taking advantage of the big three is criminal. That talent and rightfully so will only respect a coach with a ring. Heck after that lost Lebron on his own basically ignored the heat coaching staff and spend the offseason by himself working on post moves. The levels of stupidity displayed by giving Spo the keys are magnified today. Heck even if Spo was to be the next best coach at least do him the common sense of hiring the best assistants that money can buy to make sure he succeeds. We did the opposite which just amplifies how off the ball we currently are. Unforced errors. We should have had something special but didnt. To say that group under achieved would be an understatement.

Super solid.

Will be something if after Ovechkin finally gets past the Penguins he then loses the Stanley Cup to an expansion team. I realize that nobody here probably cares about hockey, but that'd be something.

i was rooting for ovy or the jets since it's been 25 years since a canadien team won

Yeah, I'll root for Sasha to win as well. I'm not one of those fans who can't handle quality opposition.
Spoiler:
I'm referring to fans like the Patriots have who'll find any way to disparage players like Peyton Manning to make Brady look better.

Would hurt to lose to an expansion though, muh god.

Hello muh boyz. I wallowed in self pity with the Heat being bounced by the kiddies from Philly.
So I did some soul searching in the swamps of the Everglades and I got my wits back. So like the Warriors and the Cavs in the finals, eyes be back!
