Love gonna be bought out. He’s def heading to LA or some chit isn’t he smh.

He just came out and said he's not taking a penny less on his 60 million dollar deal. If they buy him out it's going to be have to be for like 57.5 million so he can make up the 2.5 difference with his new team. Cavs may just ride it out till next year. Love is right in that he should not be taking a pay cut on the buyout when this is most likely his last big deal in the NBA before he hits the vet minimum circuit.

He didn’t even deserve that extension in the first place. Was clearly a player on the downslope of his career at the time. Has not done anything since. But I digress.

I thought they signed Kendrick Nunn to be the backup PG?

Westbrook, Nunn, Monk, Rondo, THT, Ellington, Bazemore is what the Lakers have for backcourt options.

Looking at that list, Nunn might start for them next to Westbrook. Only other option is THT, but he might not offer the spacing they need.

Lol thats a big if. Yurt is unknown quantity. He dominated in summer league but tbd how he will actually fare long term. I think we need to be fair and not to have too high expectations for him. If he can play 10 - 15 mins, grab some rebounds and score easy buckets around the paint then that's a win. Anything more would be a welcome but it shouldn't be an expectation.
Herro should have a bounce back year. With Dragic and Nunn gone, he will get majority of the shots with the backup unit. If he can't capitalized then I'd be worried about his future.
Gabe I have no faith in the role they're putting him in. He should be the 12 or 13th guy and not the backup pg. I don't think anyone can say he's a rotation player with confidence. He couldn't hold regular minutes last season and wasn't great in Olympics. If it was any other position like SG/SF I wouldn't care. But as backup pg he has a lot more responsibility than the other bench players. With Lowry being 36 I think its stupid not to go and get a legit back up point guard.

We will go as far as the star players (Butler, Bam, and Lowry) take us. This is the same for every team in the league. What team has role players without question marks?

IF this Heat season ends up falling short, it will be Jimmy, Bam, and Lowry needing to answer questions.
