BTW I would think about putting Jimmy Luka, telling Jimmy to take it easy on offense and just disrupt chubby kid.

If we slow him down there's not much scoring/creating the Mavs got left.

Not sure I agree. It's not part of a B2B (we've had two nights off actually) and it's a very winnable road game, the kind of games we gave away in bunches last season that came back to absolutely murder us; we finished one game away from hosting the Knicks in the first round rather than going on the road vs fkn Milwaukee. Why get cute with voluntary rest here and risk giving a W away?

I've always felt that the games we use for rest should be the B2Bs against elite teams where we're the underdog anyways, or games where we're already shorthanded and likely to lose where competing hard would be extra taxing on our healthy players. And there will be plenty of those throughout the season

Funny that Ira would consider Garrett to cover for DNP KZ. I'd expect Martin would slide in nicely. Without Strus, you just run different lineups, probably those which can shoot from range..ie, not KZ or Garrett dependent lineups.

He could be an All-Star player if he stays focused all season with a maximum extension waiting for him next year. The competition hasn't been as tough after the new rules slowed down some of the best scorers in the league. I don't see Miami trading Tyler Herro as long as he continues to improve his game in this way.
