Gabe had more misses than points last night, Herro trying to do the same thing tonight, he's sitting at 9 pts and 10 missed shots.

And that’s the best thing about this team, on any given night you just never know who’s going to step up and take one for the team like this

Spoelstra has been using smoke and mirrors to get these fringe nba players to contribute for years now, DON'T PAY THEM! Either replace them with minimums or make a trade to bring some better players to fill out the roster.

Small ball just gives pistons more opportunities and chances to win don’t get it

Eric Spoelstra, the head coach of the Miami Heat, may continue to use small ball lineups for a variety of reasons. Here are a few possible explanations:
Personnel: Spoelstra may feel that his team is better suited to play small ball given the players on his roster. If he has more agile, perimeter-oriented players who can shoot from beyond the arc, he may choose to play small ball in order to take advantage of their strengths.
Matchups: Spoelstra may choose to play small ball in specific matchups where his team has an advantage. For example, if the opposing team has a slow, lumbering center who struggles to defend the perimeter, Spoelstra may opt for a small ball lineup that can exploit that weakness.
Tactical flexibility: Small ball lineups can be more versatile on both ends of the court, allowing for more switching on defense and more ball movement on offense. This can be especially useful in situations where the opponent is unpredictable or has multiple offensive threats.
Philosophy: Some coaches have a preference for small ball as a style of play, believing that it leads to more dynamic and exciting basketball. Spoelstra may fall into this category, and simply enjoy coaching small ball lineups.
Ultimately, the decision to play small ball or not depends on a number of factors, and coaches may adjust their strategy from game to game based on the situation.
