There was a reddit thread several weeks ago asking who would be the best all-time defender on Wemby. I made a comment about it being Bam Adebayo due to his size, strength, quickness, and ability to effectively guard the perimeter, and was immediately downvoted to hell.

People are morons lol.

We dodged a major bullet with Harden…and perhaps even with Lillard too.

Lillard would have been fine with the way our team works. It's seem strange for the Bucks because they hired a 1st year coach and part of Brook Lopez's role in that team defensive was completely covered by Jrue fighting over screens. Bucks should have looked for an upgrade at SG instead of replacing Jrue.

Harden for sure.

If Harden was still any good, he wouldn't have been a good fit for us due to his style of play.

Lillard is Lowry 2.0. Would be a good asset but not for what he's being paid. At this stage of his career, he should be making no more than 20M/yr

You're suppose to be acquiring players who can help you win a championship, not win a ton of games in the regular season. Time after time Lillard is what Miami needs in the playoffs, a proven playoff scorer. Who knows how good Lillard would look in Miami with one of the best coaches in the league figuring out how to utilize him.

I don't think Miami needed to go all in for a guy like Lillard but they need to find at least 1 proven playoff scorer to not waste any more playoffs before Butler can't give you a lot of what he gave Miami last year in the playoffs before messing up his ankle.

Right, I do remember a time where Miami added LeBron and Bosh and it took them a while to figure it out. I think those 3 started out somewhere around 9-8?

Time will tell though and if he’s in and out all year and hurt when the playoffs come around that label is sticking lol

The last 2 injuries were contact injuries. He was just unlucky, could have happened to anyone

Right but it didn’t lol it happened to a player on our team that is prone to timely injuries.

to be fair with Herro's injuries we only paying attention to it so much cause we follow this team every game and know the random G league players by their 1st name. im not checking the nba injury reports for the other squads so i dont know who is sitting or hurt unless we play them. Tyler just needs to be smarter and pick his spots like jimmy to avoid the freak injuries

We need a scoring, 3 point shooting tyoe of guard, not another defensive guy.

You dont waste a pick on this type of player

If you're doubling down on Herro scoring consistently in the playoffs then it's a solid move. He's a nice disruptor on defense.

Caruso ain’t worth Caleb plus a pick. Caleb alone, probably, given JJJ looks capable.
