I'd expect he calls him for dinner.

Cavs aren't going to land in 3rd slot. They'd be lucky if they were a 6

It’s always an interesting thought puzzle to consider if we got it wrong or they missed a key point in their development to ‘inevitable’ stardom or a little bit of both, when a certain star player doesn’t happen. (More likely that there is no certainty and it’s just popular myth)

I think its more just a lack of knowledge about a player and their game. Im a prime example. Ive bought into the "propoganda" more times than I care to admit. Im not accomplished enough or studied enough to know each players particular skillset or the amount of real savvy and maturity they have.

I think with Emoni, you can look at a lot of the red flags he had, but the snake oil salesmen want you to believe in the fantasy as to what he could be if he had the mental makeup of the true stars of this league. Its a rare breed....

I for sure thought Beasley and to a lesser extent Winslow were going to be really good picks for us haha

Some people put too much stock in a players highschool success translating to NBA success. People do not believe its a huge gap between a 17 yr old and a 21 yr old.

I know this sounds weird but I think both would of developed way faster and into better players in other situations. Winslow especially, remember the C’s offered us something like 4-5 frp’s. Crazy looking back. I think if he went there they would of instilled crazy confidence into him and he would of turned out way better. Beas on a chitty team where they handed him the keys I outright
would of also been better quicker but I think his ceiling would of been the man on a chitty team putting up number but no defence and no meaningful winning.

We do this thing where we ease guys in and it works sometimes and other times not so much.
