I'd definitely do the Houston deal if they offered that. The Memphis deal is a lot more meh, although if there is enough draft capital coming back, it may give Miami more options to either involve a 3rd team or make a second trade to improve the roster immediately. If Miami made any deal with Memphis, I'd think they'd want Smart included.

I just have a hard time seeing Riley trading for draft capital without having an almost immediate move in mind.

Thoughts on - 12, Lu Dort, Cason Wallace, future picks?

It's probably the worst and least likely of the 3 scenarios, mainly because Dort is a role player and all the other acquisitions are ostensibly youngsters that likely wouldn't help Miami immediately. Maybe Riley keeps Dort and sends all the draft assets to another team for a proven player?

It's less about what I think about any particular deal and more about what I think the Miami FO would consider, and I just don't think Miami's FO would really consider trading Butler in a deal mainly centered on draft picks. The other two scenarios you have proven players (Sengun and Bane) coming back, and that's why I think Miami would consider those moves if they were on the table (I'd be shocked if Houston offered so much for Butler).

I could definitely see Riley taking Sengun and then sending Whitmore and all the draft capital Houston offered for Butler to Phoenix for Durant or to Cleveland for Mitchell (or include Sengun and get Mitchell and J Allen). I can't imagine Phoenix or Cleveland would consider this, but...who knows

Sengun or J Allen / Bryant
Bam / Jovic / Love
JJJ / Robinson / Martin?
Herro / Highsmith
Mitchell / Richardson?

Nah. They got mikal. Will keep OG according to their beat writers. But will v likely lose ihart. They will probably run Mitchell and Precious at the 5 or small ball Randle there.

IHart is a top notch rim protector and glue guy. Better keep that balance in place or theyll be running with a bunch of wings like we are.

Saw that they were trying to move Mitchell.

Jimmy wants to play dominoes and smoke Cuban cigars. He will be paid handsomely next summer.

Doesn't matter Bam was extension negotiation eligible since the Finals ended, Jimmy butler cannot negotiate his extension until after July 6. Bams would of always had come first just do to this, so not understanding the dilemma just yet.

It's pretty obvious what is going to happen. We are going to draft Bronny. Lebron is going to opt out and join us for the veterans minimum. We win at least 3 chips before Lebron retires at 48.

Less enthused about the prospect of Haywood returning. He’s such a jag. Dime a dozen player that we’re going to overpay, I can feel it.
