LeBron saving all his energy to just play offense when he has the ball is a huge part of the problem. You "might" be able to hide him somewhat if you didn't have someone like D-Lo and a rookie both on the court with him. I know he's been doing this for a few years now but it was really bad tonight... but he got his points!

That’s a pretty good jump while maintaining a good percentage. Hopefully he keeps it up all year.

Can't lie, as someone who's been very critical of him that's impressive. Great start for him and I hope he keeps balling out! I never doubted his ability to put up these numbers, just doubted he'd manage to consistently and efficiently. He seems to have matured off the court as well. This year I've been impressed with him right from his preseason press conference up until now. He just needs to find a way to keep it up and stay healthy enough to play in at least 65-70 games and this could become a huge leap forward season for him! Bam looked poised for the breakout season coming off the USA gold medal but he's really disappointed so far. The outside shot has clearly improved and that's amazing but get it together Bam damn! We need them both to take a leap simultaneously!

I haven't followed the Lakers that much this year but I can't see a rookie coach in JJ "eviscerate" the team without losing them any more. Especially when the guy taking it easy on defense is LBJ

Just looking at LeBron's calculated ORTG and DRTG, only his rookie season did he have a lower ORTG and he's never had a worse DRTG, overall, he's a -7 in calculated ORTG-DRRTG this season and it's only his 2nd time in his career being negative in that with the other time being his rookie season.
