Yea..idk what's behind people feeling like they have to attack Wiggins. So far he's exceeded my expectations by a wide mile.
Btw I don't view Wiggins not having Kobe/Jordan mentality as a major criticism. Those two are 1 of 1's for a reason, legit psycho workers

I think he deserves a more nuanced take than "he'll never be an alpha ship him out" or "he has that potential lets turn him into Kobe". Sometimes its OK to have a guy who is uber talented, maybe not with that killer mentality, but humble enough that he's a consistent positive to your team. I think Wiggins has proven he can be that guy, and I'm OK with that.
Now does that fit our timeline? Huge question mark. But I don't understand the assumption that everything has to be immediately blown up and restarted if it doesn't perfectly fit a rebuild timeline. We were in a worse position both in terms of roster and talent when Jimmy arrived 6 years ago, not saying that's going to happen again but I'm not ready to just dump everyone who isn't under the age of 25 and paid more than their rookie deal just because we aren't a contender at this very moment.
