That's a good attitude. I see a lot of Chicago folks, based on expectation, talking themselves into Rose or bust and a few heat fans doing the same with Beasley. Except, John Paxson could pull a fast one and take Beasley and that would make things very interesting.

I think a lot of Chicago folks are a bit too sure that Rose will be the pick..

I think its still 50-50..wouldnt be surprised if Beasley is the pick .. the less basketball is being played the more Rose seems to be gaining ground on Beasley.

Beasley's going to have to change his number. Big-game Barron wears the number 30. And I'm pretty sure he'll be returning next season.

Just kidding.

Of course he'll back next season.

The Beasley camp is growing...

I've been Beasley the whole way. Pick and roll basketball is what has been getting it done lately. A guard/wingman and a big man = success.

CP3-D-West, D-Will-Boozer, Nash-Stoudemire, Parker-Duncan, Bryant-Gasol, McGrady-Yao.

Think of all the crappy teams...

Knicks - Marbury and Curry? LOL

76ers - Iguodala and Dalembert? Please...

Nets - Vince Carter and Nenad Krstic? Nope.

Bucks - Redd and Bogut? Haha.

Sonics - Durant and no one.

Etc...

Pick and Roll is the key my friends. B-Easy all the way.

Yeah I've been loving the idea of a Wade-Beasley pick and roll since day one. I must say, this experience has allowed me to re-fall in love with B-Easy. I've loved Rose since before he played his first Tigers game, and that only increased with the tourney, but now I'm starting to see things evenly again. People have really forgotten how definitely Beasley was the consensus no. 1 pick before his season ended, even when people were still gushing over Rose. I just really hope Riley keeps the pick because I've been building myself up all year to see one of these guys in a Heat uni.

Me too. When the Heat come over to London this October, if I don't see Rose or (hopefully) Beasley, I'm going to be devasted.

I think a great comparison for Beasley is a more athletic present day David West.

A more athletic David West is Amare Stoudemire. I'd love that out of a draft pick

I think David West is a great comparison.

I dont see how Chicago, who before their horrible season last year were considered "a post scorer" away from being a title contender, dont want Beasley for themselves, isnt Beasley a post scorer? a post scorer at PF?

my how the Bulls have soured on the makeup of their team if they are taking DRose over Beasley.

And Beasley's all ready got a mid-range jumper, so you could say he's a little more developed then Stoudemire was when he came into the league.

I'm pulling for the Bulls to take Rose. I like Rose a lot, but I think our options with Beasley are better, not to mention he's a phenomenal talent.

Consider that if the Heat take Beasley then Haslem isn't a necessity for us anymore. Recent reports suggest that Toronto could be a willing trade partner for him. Calderon is a great option for us at point and would undoubtedly be the player exchanged for Udonis. Taking Beasley also means that the rebounding and scoring Marion provided would be replaced to some degree, meaning we could choose (or Marion rather) to trade him for cap space and a prospect, or coax him into opting out.

The end result of this is big cap space for '10 superstars and a solid core of Wade, Beasley, Calderon, Wright, and others.
