Top 7 spots for Giannis.
I think pistons hawks magic make little sense. And they aren't gonna trade him in their own division either with eliminates and interesting Indiana package.
Also, is a package of Herro Wiggins JJJ Ware and 3 frps not competitive? I'd be willing to offer that up for Giannis. Davion Burks Giannis Jovic Bam. Plus we'd have vets wanting to come here sign deals. And then once rozier and Duncan are off the books and we can sign other dudes, we'd have a nasty 3-4 window imo. But im dreaminnnnnnn'
It's super competitive but damn the offense on that team would be ugly. At that point do you even want Duncan off the books? You'd be desperate for shooting.
I mean if you drill down...
Davion shot 44% from 3 for us. 40% on the year.
Burks shot 42.5% from 3 for us. Has shot over 40% every year since 2020.
Jovic shot 37% from 3 and 40% the year before.
Bam shot 36% from 3 but we all know it's his first season with high volume and after ASB he shot well over 40%.
You don't want Giannis shooting 3s at all, but that's a very good supporting cast imo. Duncan off the bench.
Maybe Chris Paul comes here to be backup point guard to help with distributing and play making. We'd still have Pelle and haysmith who are good 3&D guys to play with giannis and bam and come off the bench.
It's not a perfect team. But like I said. If we got giannis and then rozier and Duncan came off the books in 2026 we'd have so much flexibility to sign some good depth players and have a really nice window to compete for titles. Giannis is a monster. I'd trade just about anything for him other than bam.
We would have several vets wanting to come and fill out the roster but even despite that the offense would be better regardless just by the addition of Giannis and his level of play compared to any of those guys you mentioned in the trade
