Playoff Ja > playoff Herro
It’s as simple as that

Ja's ceiling is still higher, but Herro for Ja would be a tough fit. Personality wise, and basketball wise. We'd have to throw away the new offense, and scrape up a lot more shooters to play around Ja as a result. Otherwise, he'd probably end up blowing up on the Heat too within a season or so. Plus you'd have to hope he can stay on the floor too.

But but but Miami and Riley will fix him!!
to me, it is obvious that JA is "unflexible" and We have seen the best he can be...BUT...
consider the option that we are not relevant and Probably won't be In the near future
IF we get lucky with him, he can make us Relevant again Almost as soon as he gets here.I suggest you

You gotta do something in the playoffs to have a "playoff" moniker in front of your name.

Fair enough
Ja’s the superior playoff performer
Herro’s mostly been a void in the post season

The way Wiggs is playing is worth at least 2 FRP. Glad we didn't sell low on him.

Rebounding woes.
On/off team rebounding (boxscore rebounding doesnt matter as much as team rebounding)
Bam
74/63 -11%
Mitchell
70.7/66.5 -4.2%
Wiggins
69.4/68.3 -1.1%
We have a few guys around neutral.
Ware
64.9/72.4 + 7.5%
Jovic
66.9/70.8 + 3.9%
Dru
66.3/70.6 +4.3%
Ware is especially killing us on rebounds.
He's the biggest guy on the team, yet we get killed with him on the court.
Bam unsurprisingly is our most impactful rebounder. Wiggins is surprising since he's been starting at pf against much bigger guys.

Still think itll be rui package to the lakers or straight up for kuminga at the dealine if he gets moved. Team might be too good to just sell him for a draft asset and salary dump.

Dude is balling right now. I don’t want to deal him anymore. We need to see how this team looks with Herro back healthy. Need front court depth but that might be resolved if Rozier situation gets settled and we get cap relief.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Wiggins is VERY strong for his size and with his athleticism he's always been a good offensive rebounder.

Ware is such a disappointment. Hes just not going to get there mentally.

Im ready to call it quits on him. Jovic has the talent but you can see the IQ isn't all there yet. Last year when Jaquez was struggling the effort was there but he was just terrible. Pelle always brings the effort.
Ware....he just doesn't seem engaged.

The Heat are at the 10 game mark. Like every year in Nov, almost like by design, the Heat has injuries and multiple different starting lineups.

Re: 2025 Miami Heat Regular Season Thread
I checked out Dru Smith's stats and noticed he is getting a lot of steals in very few mins, so I went to check his per36. Yeah he is killing it, but he has always killed it.
Hist career steals per36 is 2.9. I wondered if that is crazy good or what. Yep, if he qualified on minimums, he'd be top 10 all time, and the top guy in the last 30-40 years (Alvin Robertson the most recent and last played in 95-96).
He's currently having the 5th greatest season of all time in steals per36.
