Good find, I like Pritchard. I think he will easily transition to the NBA and contribute early.

Not that I think we would, as we don’t value picks the same way other teams do, but how high up the draft order would a package of Kendrick Nunn and #20 get you?

The Suns pick at #10 would be interesting. I can imagine they’d be keen on someone like Nunn as a 6th man scorer, and could still pick up a quality player at #20.

I really like Okoro.

Don't think Nunn has done enough to get that high. I think you could move up a handful of spots, at most.

I'd do it to get the guy we want, as I'm not a Nunn backer.

Have a feeling that he won't make it to 20.

Back in 2017, Portland traded picks 15 + 20 to Sacramento for pick 10 to nab Zach Collins.

I dunno, Nunn had a pretty solid year and bounced back a bit in the Finals to remind people of his talent.

A team like PHX needs some additional backcourt scoring and could still target a development PG at 20. They’ll be gunning for playoffs next year and may value a ready made player. Particularly in a year where the talent level is viewed as pretty equal.

There’s only a few guys I’d look at to move up by using KNunn, Okoro and Vassell probably the major ones if they were available around 10.

You know me DoM, I’m a sucker for SF’s. Okoro would be a defensive dog who has a solid looking stroke that needs a few tweaks, Vassell is ready to plug and play now.

There's a prospect in this class named Jay Scrubb. The ultimate #RSHK.

I'm down with drafting a SF if the organization likes him. They've proven themselves with home runs in Bam and Herro, and "can't blame them" picks in Beasley and Justice.

Its wild to think that this org thumbed their nose at the draft for 95% of the past 25 years, yet all their success is closely linked to the draft. Caron was a major piece in the Shaq trade, Wade became a legend whose gravity attracted the greatest FA coup in modern history, JRich got Butler, Winslow got Iggy and Jae, and finally, Bam and Herro were major players in a Finals run.

Get me another player Pat. He'll, make it two.

The issue with Nunn is his age(25) and he only is under a cheap contract for 1 more year which makes him not nearly as valuable as a 1st round pick. To move up Miami would have to find a team willing to drop back a few spots to add Nunn to their rotation and keep his bird rights vs trying to out bid for him with their cap space on the open market.

Isaiah Joe getting Tyler Herro Comps- Add him to the second round buy in target list, without the finishing at the rim. Id replace DJJ with this guy let us develop him physically. He is humble, hard worker and coach for a dad like Herro which is high on my list.

1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

His highlight videos make him look like a stud doing all the right things. Its all the other video on him that give me serious pause. Outside from his outside shot and weakside help defense he is going to get abused all over the court. He has no post game, cant box out and will be a turnover machine at the next level. If Okoro has tree trunk legs then Smith has the twigs that fell from the same tree.

From the videos I've seen, I get the feeling that this is Bam's backup for at the 5 and possibly be able to play Bam and Smith together to have 2 shot blockers on the court. With Robinson and Herro cementing their positions in the rotation, defending the rim will become a bigger priority for Miami which is why a shot 4/5 big makes a ton of sense. I could see Miami drafting need vs upside and this roster needs a defensive big to be on the floor when Bam isn't. Smith would be a short term project because of the lack of strength.

Although not as good as Bam, I think Smith is able to what Miami currently asks Bam to do, minus the ballhandling and strength, but that's why I also think he's a project. It would also allow Miami to continue to play the same with Bam off the court, something they couldn't do with him off the court this season.

I am on the fence with smith, will he be strong enough to battle on the board with Lakers ? We need rebounding and paint protection so much, I feel Oturu is bigger, rebounds better and moves better...I just take Oturu and run with it...he reminds me of embbid a little, beside the 3pt shooting

Oturu is naija too and has a great personnality, I think teamates will love him, he is the anti whiteside, would be great friend with bam. So if we can get oladipo, oturu, and bring back crowder for a year, I am super happy with the moves

Next year giannis will feel like heat is home of the nigerians

Dragic - Nunn
Oladipo - Herro
Butler - Duncan
Crowder - KZ
Bam - Oturu

our biggest need is clearly a stretch big, and those are much more rare then a scoring guard. so unless we find a guard with allstar potential at #20, which is very unlikely, I'm good with taking the best athletic shooting big we can find.

If he's 6'10 or taller, has a natural shooting talent, and is athletic, I want him.

I believe we'll make this type of talent a good defender and he'll be the best fit for our needs.

If BPA is much better than need, we shouldn't draft for need. Also, another good defensive guard is one of our needs.
