Now would be a good time for Adam Silver to float the idea of a one time only tournament style NBA playoffs when play resumes. Maybe have teams ranked sixth and above in the standings on bye and all other conference teams compete for the 7th/8th seed. Then start the playoffs. Warriors/Nets could be vicious.

Article raises a great point. How did the NBA get access to test for Coronavirus when almost no tests are available in the country?

Cuban has been thinking about this from early on, he was the first person that I heard of in the NBA that was mentioning to come up with a plan to help out these lower waged players connected to his arena with all the missed games.

Per the article:

Here are a few more surprising digits. The 58 tests conducted represented 60 percent of Oklahoma’s peak daily capacity.

“We have the capacity to run about 100 tests a day,” said Cox. While the state is in the process of “reordering additional reagents,” as of now, they can perform 300 tests. Meaning: the Utah Jazz alone consumed 20 percent of Oklahoma’s total stock.

An elite athlete who was reckless with how he treated the seriousness of this outbreak suddenly feels ill. Government resources that could have been used elsewhere then had to get utilized on this one team. As the article notes, almost 1 percent of all tests done in the country were done on the Utah Jazz franchise. Gobert should be banned from the NBA. That is disgraceful.
