A team looking to dump a small multiyear contract or someone looking to get some cash out of a player they don't really need at around the league minimum? The other current option would be to move Herro. December 15th other players that were signed this offseason become available to move. Jan 15th Duncan is available to be moved but by that time Bam should be close to coming back.

I think you got too much flack for this comment so I'm going to cosign to an extent.

Jimmy is not going to quit on Miami as an org. He would never get the respect here that he gets anywhere else. He would not be lead dog on a championship team anywhere else. So he's not quitting on Miami.

BUT. If this continues he will quit on Spo as a coach. You will see, he will start to slowly voice things publicly questioning Spo's decision making. Talking about rotation and minutes. Etc.

And tbh, if/when it happens, I won't be mad at it. As much as I try to see Spo's side of things, and defend him from some of the irrational hate he gets on here (especially when he's blamed for players' deficiencies) he needs to be shaken up. This small ball **** in particular has got to stop if the shooting issues cannot be fixed. We can't continue to set ourselves up to get destroyed on both sides of the floor.

I was on vacation in Galápagos (top 2 trip for me all time) and just back to the 305 yesterday.
What in the f'ing hell happened to this team?!

Well, the good thing about the horror show is it's happening early and not later in the season. The field in the East looks wide open, we can make a run as long as we have everyone come playoff time.

No. What really matters is how the team play after all star break. If the Heat can play at least 500 bbal up to all star break. They will be in ok position. Bam injury shouldn't be a lingering problem when he returns. If Herro is truly ready like many here feel. Butler and Herro should win a lot of games.
