Thomas will back up Dragic - a position (backup PG) he's more ideal for, while Bledsoe is the starting SG. So basically nothing would be my guess.

I like Eric reed. He's always going from one extreme to the other but I find him to better with the callers and generally very funny.
The guy on now, I think his name is fredo, is always bitchy. Other day someone called him the modern day hank Goldberg and he got pissed cause he hates hank. Thing is Hank was the King of Miami sports talk. This idiot doesn't hold a candle to him.
I don't like him for a couple reasons. He always screams for no reason, he talks over everyone (not sure how Leroy does it, I think Leroy is awesome), all of his takes are off of the ESPN bottom line, accent is infuriating, and he contradicts himself every 5 minutes.
Yeah and I know about Freido that fat bulls fan with a lisp. He has no substance and just takes calls every show.

I can say this pretty confident, because it's what makes the most sense.
Opening night, Heat play the Cavs in Miami.

I want Deng now
He is a competitor
Ariza I don't get that sense from. I know he won already but he isn't the persona of a Heat player
Ariza has better numbers but it is a contract year... Idk. I liked the idea of him with Lebron cause of his 3pt percentage but no more Lebron... Soooo

Since Lakers actually only offered 2/10, am I wrong to think that an overpay for him would be a good idea? We need size and he'd only be with us till 2016. I know he'd only sign to a contender, but I feel like getting Pau and Ariza makes us a top seed in the East

Not really a fan of Deng or Ariza unless we somehow pull Gasol with them.
I know he's hated here but I'd MUCH rather throw money at Stephenson than Ariza or Deng.
Rather give Bledsoe a max offer sheet too.

Miami's biggest mistake this offseason was not getting Spencer Hawes. We could have had him instead of McRoberts for the same money, it hurts for two reasons.
1. Perhaps it could have convinced Lebron to stay, perhaps not.
2. Bosh could have slid down to power forward and it would have filled a need that we would not be looking at filling at the moment.
3. We could have used the remaining of our cap space on a pg and sf, and Thomas is going for very cheap
PG - Isaiah Thomas / Shabazz Nappier / Norris Cole
SG - Dwyane Wade / Caron Butler / Anthony Morrow
SF - Luol Deng / Danny Granger / James Ennis
PF - Chris Bosh / Carlos Boozer / Udonis Haslem
C - Spencer Hawes / Chris Anderson / Greg Oden
I would have had us sitting at top 2 in the East, I love that lineup.

I'm hearing mcroberts and the heat may not sign the deal mutually.
I also hate the idea or Deng and Ariza. Both old. Do not want. Give me young pieces.
And save money!!!
2016 is when we need money!!!

Agreed, would rather have Hawes than McRoberts but it's whatever at this point.

That's how I feel too. Don't get me wrong, losing LBJ is no joke and he's the best player in the world. I am still a fan of his game but I am even a bigger fan of Riley (if that makes sense). We are not going to be title contenders but we will be competitive. Hopefully Riley builds one more championship team before he retires. I don't even feel the sting of LeBron leaving. Hearing more about the reasons why he left and the home factor + Cavs young roster was simply too much for Riley to overcome.
I missed Lebatard or any sports today after I heard the announcement, I didn't want my Friday to be filled with negativity cause I have to attend and speak at a funeral tomorrow. This news of Bosh that came across my phone pepped me right up. I am now catching up.....
I too just want to be competitive....and we will be, i feel it will be easier than expected. Some of us got spoiled with all of the quick success, I always put it into perspective and look forward to watching a mixture of our lil 3 with some good vets and BOSH/WADE.
Things like those keep sports in perspective. It's only sports, it's entertainment, and doesn't have a direct impact on our lives. I think that's why I am so meh today and simply excited to watch the Heat/NBA next season. Sorry for your loss BTW (don't know whom you lost but hope you are doing okay).
Appreciate the sentiment, the loss was not to me directly, but when I moved to GA, a friend of mind followed me with her elderly mom. She never had a son, so I pretended to be her son, she was 98. They ask me yesterday to speak, caught off guard, but got to do it....
