We would get Batum and Kaminsky back. Batum comes with bird rights and we offer him a great situation here. I know Riley was a big fan of Kaminsky in the pre draft process. He brings us another stretch big. I know many will bash the trade but a lineup of

C Frank Kaminsky
PF Chris Bosh
SF Nic Batum
SG D Wade
PG Goran Dragic

That starting five excites me :)

Ahhh cmon he aint that bad  Maybe Spencer Hawes instead? Just looking at different options to get the most floor spacers for Dragic and Wade to coexist optimally.

Oh gosh please no Hawes just give me Kaminsky instead

I used to despise Kaminsky during the pre draft process but I sware I feel like I have been brain washed after seeing all those Kaminsky profile pics the last few weeks. In all realness though if we were forced to have to trade Whiteside for whatever reason which i stated I am not advocating, I feel like that's what a fair deal would look like considering Hassan's contract status. Hassan is getting a max deal no matter what at this point.

Batum and Kaminsky for Whiteside actually sounds intriguing.

Also, check out my profile pic.

I think fans are more focused on his contract more than he is.

i doubt that.

i think their is a good possibility we trade whiteside at the deadline.

our team is better with him off the floor, stats say. thats hard to ignore. he gets a few blocks a game, but his bbiq is still so raw, he bites on fakes all the time.

But I read a story, its something like Wade saying Whiteside should focus more in the game than his contract.

I also notice that he's getting problems to other big man in the NBA right now. There's a reason he is out during the latter part of the game. One say, why not trade him now that he has better value? If it is only allowed by rules that Riley ask Whiteside how much money he wants for his next contract and answered max salary, then Riles should trade him.

I too believe that there is a possibility Whiteside is going to be traded, rumors are scary that he gets a fat contract.
CAnt imaging him getting a max contract who isn't even a superstar in the team. Giving him too much affect our cap space to add better deserving player worth their contract. I hope McBob is package in any Hassan deal so we can dumped his contract. But I doubt we get a good value for him considering he's UFA, unless a team is willing to over pay for him. Probably we just hold on to him and gamble if he's willing to take Riley's offer, unless too favorable deal before the deadline.

We have averaged top 5 in the East and top 10 in the league. We have one of the top defenses in the league.......We get beat by the Utah Jazz and everybody done lost their minds talking about trading a key piece that has helped us to be a top defensive team and top 10 team in the league. :o

We lost against Jazz, Knicks, Wolves, Nets ... I'm sure I'm forgetting some other scrub teams too. And it's not even Allstar break yet.

Not that I would necessary want to trade any of our players, but to say we're doing well is kinda ignorant.

It's sad that fans, and media (Skolnick) is making a big deal out his his contract situation. Hassan isn't probably even worried about it, as much as we talk about it. I think this thread should be closed and we focus on what's important, the season.

Me stating that we have averaged top 5 in the East and top 10 in the league is not an indication of my opinion being that we are ultimately doing well & i am thoroughly pleased.......but more that in spite of our many issues we aren't doing too bad.

I understand as fans we hold our team to a higher standard than the rest but in context of our issues, all the complaints, criticism, trade requests etc. etc. we are still one of the top teams in the East and the League.

We often get carried away during losses and often can look too far ahead and project our negativity on our future but on the flip who is to assume we can't make strides and show improvements when we least expect?

I got this from Hoopshype via Ira W. of the Sun-Sentinel... http://hoopshype.com/storyline/hassan-whiteside-free-agency/
Q: I'm starting to see more and more that Hassan Whiteside isn't looking as elite as we all thought. Whenever the opposing team has a legit center, especially in these recent games, Whiteside is getting outrebounded and alley-ooped on, etc. I think Whiteside is good, don't get me wrong. But I don't think he may be worth as much as everyone expects when free agency hits -- Earl, Jersey City.

A: And I do not believe the Heat will go to the max with Whiteside for that very reason. I believe there is an envelope tucked away somewhere with a number on it. If Whiteside can get more and chooses to take that more elsewhere, then the Heat move on. But I also wouldn't overstate these recent games. Playing through pain is a lesson all players have to deal with, and one Hassan is working through right now.

Yep, you know Riles is 10 steps ahead of everybody. He has his numbers crunched & will be interesting what those numbers are for Hassan.

Whiteside will get about the same or more than what Tristian Thompson got. Averaging a double double and 4 blks per game isn't something you can just find. Teams will be lined up and i'm sure Riley knows this. If Dragic got paid, Hassan will get paid.
