Brooklyn might come with a stupid offer. Hopefully not. Nets may be looking for pay back for us matching TJ. Maybe they go after Gallo before Waiters.

If anyone deserves payback for that offer, it's Miami...I think Brooklyn just gave him that offer for chits and giggles lol

But yeah, they are one of the two teams (also Philly) I think could give Dion an offer the Heat would really hesitate to match. But maybe the Nets will try to get some restricted guys like KCP instead

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2016/07/29/dwyane-wade-chicago-bulls-jimmy-butler-rajon-rondo/87749600/

he said back then

Dwyane Wade: The Bulls are 'Jimmy Butler's team'

today jimmy is off to play towards a "great team"

while, he is the only aging alpha on that team now. rondo doesnt count lulz

that's why i dont want him here

I just hope it's not at SF. I know he was a feel good story last year but a 6'4 200 pound SF is not what you want as a playoff team.

I know, our cap situation just feels less encouraging every day... If we lose out on every decent FA signing outside of re-signing our guys then it would feel good to have a guy like Rodney getting another chance. I hope our rep is enough to get us a guy like Young, Casspi, or even Rudy

lettuce hope

He'd be nice there, but don't they have Mathews still?

Also, they might need to use some of their space to re-sign Dirk

He's one of my sleepers as far as improving is concerned. He's been working on improving his jumper this offseason.

Another nice, cheap, young asset for this team to develop. Miami's building something special with guys like him, J-Rich, and TJ. Eventually, this wealth of options will force the team to improve by means of thinning out that back court via trade, even if Dion does come back. That might force a trade for a forward and/or backup PG. Miami will definitely need one soon.

He definitely should be the plans. He proved his worth. He is this team UD and Keith Askins

Fingers crossed. Would love to have McGruder carve out a role as a backup two guard defensive stopper. Something has to give with all the position overlapping we have going on. If we sign Waiters then you have J Rich, McGruder, (Ellington), and TJ who all can play the two and all undersized at the three. Would love to get Rudy but the injury does make me reluctant. We should take a long look at PJ Tucker who I think would be a great compliment to Winslow. He can start or come off the bench.

I like to look at them as a package deal. I think they also became very good friends.

I feel ya but if push comes to shove I think what JJ brings to the table is more valuable in todays nba. He makes us ultra versatile. Also he seems extremely grounded.

It was a solid offer for a very good player they would have been lucky to have at 12 per year. And please do make that your avi
