Really want to see both of them back, but no need to break the bank. Can't see Riley doing so either.

Numbers don't lie, Dion improved but he wasn't that great. If he's going for the money only, that's fine and goodluck to him.
We sucked without him to start the season when we got hurt. We sucked again when he got hurt towards the end of the season. His ball handling and finishing is key at the two and meshes about perfectly with Dragon. J Rich cost us the playoffs down the stretch even with his subpar decent play towards the end. We still lost those key games we needed with J Rich. He's not anywhere near the player Waiters is in terms of guile and creativity.

If Waiters is playing hardball, Riley may already be on to the next option without Dion even realizing what he's doing.
Proud embarrassment

I swear free agency didn't use to be this annoying.
It's not even about us getting or missing our targets, it's the diva-ness of the all thing.
Something about current NBA culture just rubs me the wrong way.
too many entitled, spoiled, selfish, short sighted, weak minded, no backbone players out there.

Free agents are in a position that benefits their selves/families.... Loyalty is all good but can ppl blame them for negotiating a better deal?

I give JRich a lot of leeway due to coming back from injury. However, if he doesn't come out this year with a vengeance and make the league take notice, then I'm not going to be a happy fan. Winslow too.

If this is in regards to Hayward, I don't feel the same.
I feel that he is in his own bubble and was doing things at his own pace. The thirsty fan is the problem in this case.

Re: Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central 3.0
You can't blame Dion for looking around especially when that is what the Heat were doing within their own rights. I would think Riley wants to keep flexibility and Waiters might want years. Hopefully something gets worked out that satisfies both. At the end, we have J-Rich and TJ (and maybe Ellington) who can play SG for us next season. I don't think Riley will start handing out long term contracts. I think he signs some cap friendly deals and we go at this again in February with a trade. Free agency might not be the best way for Riles to get his whale right now.
