How does this even happen if we are a first apron team and adding DeRozan in this fashion puts us well into the second apron

I’m not sure, Orlando needs to be cut and at minimum 1 of Terry/Herro/Duncan still have to be dumped with Terry the least likely

Unless Derozan is willing to sign here for pennies. The Heat will have to trade Herro to get a deal done. I have a feeling Derozan is asking for 25 mill per.

Sometimes you can make a single trade to make multiple moves. I do wonder if Miami's FO could move Herro (salary big enough) for DeRozan for a lower price (Miami has to give him a minimum 3-year contract so they could get him to take less) where they save enough money to also sign Martin long term (3-4 years).

Even though I don't write very actively here, you can add me to the list. I've always maintained that he is overrated. I even got into an argument with some idiots here who admire Herro's ass.
