Exactly, I think people are expecting a bit too much from Arison and Pat. One, maybe two good signings is about all we need. This team is going to get better from this past season just by Dwyane/Bosh/Miller being healthier.

Lewis would be a nice addition as the 7th man off the bench. Is there interest?

This is why small ball lineup is way to go, like it or not.bosh center, lbj power foward.because centers cost alot, we can still get quality perimeter players with space left..but in no way we get bigs..

OT: Two teams have offered Roy Hibbert a max contract

Rockets to offer Asik $8M

Hopefully GM's continue offering these types of deals.

For this team I prefer Terry over Ray because he can do more off the dribble

KG 34 million too.

to become redundant, bigs cost alot. This is why in big 3 era(LBJ,WADE,BOSH) we will never end up with a good big.

Hence Bosh as center is the way to go, but i would do it during playoffs... in regular season I play with mediocre centers like joel anthony

For this team..? Because we already don't have enough guys that can create their own shot... If your worried about the 2nd unit, don't forget we have two good young point guards whose confidence and talent will only continue to improve, and having Ray Ray on the team will also allow either Lebron or Wade play with the 2nd unit a lot more. Fact is, Ray Allen would do wonders for this off of reputation alone. I guarantee you teams will not be doubling up on Lebron and Wade as much knowing that Ray Ray will be open from beyond the arc.

And there are a lot of ignorant comments on here about Nash. Obviously you guys haven't watched enough of his games. I don't know if because you see that he averages nearly 11 assists a game, you assume that all he does is pound the ball and needs the rock in his hands to be effective. He could just as easily play off the ball as well. The man is a great shooter and a floor general, that means being able to put himself in good position to score as well. The only problem I see is, I don't know how wise it would be to be setting back Chalmers and Cole after they've shown so much growth and potential.

The Sunday buzz column, which we posted Saturday morning, can be found below. But above the column, we'll post breaking updates from NBA free agency. Three from Saturday night:

1) TNT's David Aldridge reported the Heat, Knicks, Pacers, Raptors and Suns will make pitches to Steve Nash on Sunday. An official in contact with the Heat confirmed Miami's interest, but the Heat isn't exactly optimistic because it knows three of the other four teams can offer substantially more. Like the Knicks, the Heat can offer only the $3.1 million mini mid-level. The Suns and Raptors might offer deals starting at $10 million to $12 million.

In fact, CBS reported Sunday morning that Nash's agent has told suitors that he's looking for a deal starting at $12 million annually. Still, the Heat will make an attempt, while juggling a pursuit of Ray Allen and others. Nash expressed interest in Miami in March but also has said in recent days that money is important to him and he would be concerned about joining a great team and then seeing one of that team's stars go down with an injury.

2) Aldridge said Allen prefers to start. He obviously wouldn't start here. Phoenix and Memphis are expected to pursue Allen and have more to offer financially than the Heat. Still, the Heat remains very much in the running for him. The Celtics, deeply concerned about losing him, have reached out to Jason Terry.

3) The Hornets bought out forward Rashard Lewis, who could have appeal to the Heat at the league minimum, if he is willing to settle for that.

4) The Heat is among five teams that have reached out to Lakers power forward Jordan Hill, according to The Sporting News. But Los Angeles wants to keep him.

The Miami Heat want a versatile forward, dont be surprise that Antawn Jamison may be a Miami Heat in the second or third wave of free agency.

Really hope we get Ray. Jason Terry isn't a bad consolation prize either.
