The fact of the matter is Waiters and Herro are a lot more limited as strictly 2s. If Winslow eats up too many minutes at the 2, then utilizing floor spacing of Herro and Waiters will be limited some.
In the scenarios I'm proposing, Winslow may not start, but he should be in the top 4 in minutes played (and he should finish games).
This isn't hockey with full lineup switches. I promise you I'm not arguing that Waiters is a better player than Winslow. Don't get it twisted. I just see what makes sense for floor spacing with Westbrook and Butler considering Waiters and Herro are pretty much exclusively 2s.
Winslow seems to have more ways to complement the better players and his lineup numbers seem to indicate that. Dion is Dion, not a big fan of his.
On catch and shoot situations, Waiters shot 38% from 3pt range, solid, Winslow... 41.2%.
Winslow, defense, solid catch, and shoot %, not needing the ball as much as Dion and of course, wanting Winslow on the court more than Dion to indicate to me a much better option as a starter next to 2 ball dominant players.
