Well the contracts of anderson and schroder are officially off the books.. its time for Spoelstra to make Wiggins look great and boost up his trade value.. i think we can steal another first with him and expirings by next years deadline..

Warriors' fan here.

I hope I'm wrong but I would rather have Wiggins than Butler especially at their age and contracts.

Good for him. I like seeing players getting paid and even overpaid. Just not by Heat. Everybody could have avoided all this pain had we done this in the summer. I hope FO gets over their feelings and commits to retire his jersey.

Retire his jersey? Are you high?

Its a business, people need to get over it. Pat Riley has done worse to players. Over his tenure he has earned the right to retire his jersey so retire his jersey. And Lebron deserves a statue

I'd rather retire Bradley Beal's jersey. Without his refusal to waive his NTC, we wouldn't have had as much leverage to get something done

Not a fan of the deal.

Schroeder was the sort of the deal I liked most initially. Not that he’s great or anything, but he is solid. Why we are allergic to actually having pgs is frustrating.

You won't say this if Jimmy is motivated. I'd expect to him to come out raging and efficient in spite of not getting overpaid by Miami at his age

He can be motivated but he'll also need to stay healthy, which seems like a 50/50 proposition at best.

Cool, now KLove finna spend the rest of the game thinking up his cute 'troll tweet' reaction to the trade instead of focusing on keeping his seat warm.

Wiggins gives this team something that will help them in the present. I expect Spo and co to get the best out of Wiggins. Should be a movable contract for its duration with some upside. Miami now trending to have 2 FRPs in a quality 2025 draft. That could be fun. I even wonder if Miami tries to shop one of the picks to turn it into a 2027 FRP to maximize trade flexibility through next season. Either way, good team building foundations.

See some of you all in the draft thread

Butler is still a foul baiting machine who can manufacture offense in the halfcourt with a combination of strength and savviness in the paint while also generating easy buckets by getting behind the defense for hit aheads in transition.

When motivated, he's still capable of putting up virtuoso performances i.e. his game against Detroit earlier this year in which he put up 35,19,10
