Nah I think people are overreacting a lot. His biggest issue was comitting turnovers vs the Kings traps. Defensively he wasn't that bad. Actually I thought he was better than J Rich defensively. Rich got cooked by Collison, he couldn't stay in front of him. Literally every high PnR by Collison lead to either a wide open J or J Rich fouling him.
Goran actually did a better job sticking with him and late in the game he had a clutch defensive play where he got a piece of collisions stupid J which he tried again off of a high PnR.
Offensively there was a lot of turnovers and he couldn't get to the rim that well. He definitely hasn't been 100%.
Ah ok great! So he can be on and off defensively like everyone else. I think dragic will play better when Bosh is back. Totally underestimating his absence.
I overreacted after the lakers game.

IDK why people keep acting like Goran is our problem defensively. He isn't a stopper by any means but he competes hard.
Wade, JJ, and Stat are the liabilities not him. Lol
Yet all you hear is pg x is going to cook him, player y is going to do this.
Statically he's been one of the best defensive PG's in the league and since the all star break he's been better defensively than J Rich, again according to the numbers.
I think this is where narrative matters. J Rich was brought in as a defensive minded rookie whereas Goran came from the Suns where he never really defended and because of that people criticize that two of them differently.
No one mentioned how J Rich got cooked. Ect
Goran's been expending max energy on both ends while not being 100%. If he can get healthy by playoff time we'll be fine.
Remember earlier in the season where his legs were dead and Teague cooked him? Everyone was freaking out about Gorans D. Well fast forward to any of our other matchups against them and Goran has contained Teague and out played him every time.
