Bam is still very much an ascending talent and Herro was just a rookie. If Nunn is not traded that's 3 guys in the rotation we can expect to improve. There is something to the idea of continuation and chemistry, especially in a shortened offseason. Pat and the guys have been doing this longer than you've been watching, I'll trust them.

Not sure what most of you guys were expecting. 2021 has always been the plan.

It’s about keeping continuity and retaining flexibility. Let’s see what happens, it’s like 30 mins into FA.

I've calmed down a bit from my initial reaction and thought of this as well, together with a possible incoming trade of KO

At least we still got the MLE

10m for Leonard? And people thought I was crazy for suggesting Cousins at 5

Seriously though, he was great for us in the regular season. We had one of the best records in the league up until he got injured and we were forced to go with Bam at the 5.

Nunn/Dragic
Robinson/Herro
Butler/Iggy/KZ
Bam/Precious/KZ
Leonard/KO

I think this may mean Crowder is gone. Perhaps they sensed a larger deal for Jae elsewhere and signed Leonard

Thinking down the line, might sound stupid but kind seems like they might be trying to turn Meyers into the next Udonis type. Get him his money during an off year in the off season, establish that relationship further and have him become an enforcer, hard-nosed player that does anything for the team.
