We can’t give up the two picks in the tweet anyway. Our 2023 is going to OKC, and due to the protection it’s pretty hard to trade the 25+27 without wording that makes one of the turn into 2nd(s) if it doesn’t convey.

But, I agree with the sentiment that Wood isn’t worth 2 picks. The Tucker trade from last year was partly also Bucks knowing they had to maximise that year to show Giannis they meant business. They overpaid for him and Jrue, but got the title, so it was worth it for them.

Thinking big picture here :

Biggest issue going forward IMO is Bam's scoring. I'm hoping the taped hand is bugging him, because I expected a lot more from him when it comes to scoring and shooting.

If this current version is who he is - we need big changes if we want to win big. He's more of a role player then a star on the offensive end, which is a big problem next to Jimmy and Lowry. We won't win a chip on the shoulders of C.Martin and Strus, as much as I like them.

Hoping he gets it together with more reps.

Production seems to be solid when you factor in he’s only getting 15 MPG

I'm very well aware of Duncan Robinson and the Heat. As arguably the biggest Christian Wood advocate on this board, I believe giving up 2 first round picks for him might be too steep considering he has his own collection of issues that are not clear. Taking him on is taking on some risk.

Once we trade 2 first round picks, then we are likely in a position where we can't make any further trades of substance for a while. That needs to be accounted for.

Why do we keep signing Silva to these 10-day deals? At this point, we know what he is and what he can provide. I guess with Yurt going on the COVID restricted list the 4th 10-day kinda makes sense .. but why the first 3?

I'd love it if we can try out a few different players and use it like an audition instead of sticking with someone who's ceiling will be a 3rd string PF/C tweener.

Bam’s not gonna learn how to shoot corner 3’s this season.

I think the more likely scenario if Mia hypothetically added Wood would be Wood in fact in the corner shooting 3’s.
