If we don't resign Caleb then who else is going to play the 4 for us? Come on guys, use your head.

I haven't kept track of Copa America but does Ecuador have any shot to advance? Messi is hurt so there should be a chance or is the Argentina team that good?

Even without Messi they are way better than us

Let both of them walk, we have 90 shooting guards to replace them with and play out of position at power forward while our true big men rot on the bench

Rather have Jagsmith than Martin. Jagsmith is a defensive specialist and we don't have any of those guys on our roster (other than Bam and Jimmy). Martin is a jack-of-all-trades role-player and we already have JJJ that can do everything Martin can and then some.

Fits better than a lot of the guys being touted and the path to get him would likely be within reason

The Hornets traded for Lowry to have the capspace to resign him. Worse case for them they trade him to the Clippers for expiring contracts and compensation. If we stayed away from Kyrie, no way we look at Bridges.

The new CBA makes them count against the cap, before it did not.

pretty returded, why do these even exist ? There must be a reason they’re added even though they’re never gonna happen

Wait wait wait make your phucking moves already. If we have had conversations with a team with cap space make the damn move already.

These reports are getting hilarious. What flexibility are we trying to keep? We literally have no flexibility. We couldn’t make a trade for a bag of peanuts at this point.

NBA play keeps getting faster and faster... Are the Miami Heat sleeping this off-season?

Our only real option was to trade Butler, and it looks like we arent going to.

Do we have any cap space next offseason? It might be a bit depressing to get the 15th slot again and have to defer that to OKC, then have no space for improvements.

Man, my understanding of that ETO was way off. Sorry contract!

What a phucking awful decision to give Duncan that contract. He even had a down year the year he signed it and we still paid him big bucks. Ghosts of Tyler Johnson’s past.

DoM depressing me thinking about 1 July 2025 after OKC take our pick and we still run it back 10.0.

Jimmy means a lot to the Heat. Hes our culture guy. They really dont want to move on.

However, were faced with the option of wasting Bams prime on first round exits now. Wouldnt it be the smart move to add another elite talent thru the draft.

Move on from old man Butler. Get out from under the consistently, inconsistent Herro. Try and get picks in a potentially excellent draft. Isnt thag the obvious move?

1) Heat like opportunity of a Ingram trade not only to acquire him but it can help free some additional money off the books. Pelicans really like Duncan

2) unrelated to Heat but Knicks are desperate to trade Randle

Harmless incentives, if herro accomplished any of that, amazing. Herro as DPOY is just stupid lmao but ya.
You'll stop seeing those incentives real quick in new cba ofc. You gotta think agents feel better getting incentives like that for their client, sounds better when people announce it 4-120 that could reach 130m in the media, and the team sees it as a huge win if paid out or harmless.
But new cba will kill that.

Guy had 1 good series and been overrated since, my god.

Always injured, totally inconsistent, funky shot, questionable IQ....YOU DON'T PAY BIG BUCKS TO THESE KIND OF PLAYERSS FFS

I dont care if they give him a 2 year 104 million contract. as long as he expires by 2026. The only contract i want in 2026 is Bam, JJJ and Ware. I want all the cap space possible to actually do something.

In 2008 we made a huge effort to get contracts that expire by 2010. I want that same effort for 2026 and get Bam a true star.
