Plus the Cavs have our draft pick this year, top 10 protected. So we either tank hard or try and make a run so we dont give the Cavs a lottery pick.

Ray will follow him

Cavs can make more space for Miller too

They can have them. We don't need them and they're not really Heaters are they?

I don't think it was an accident that the Cavs had 3 in 4 years.

I'm dead serious.

That's if we suck but Wade is still a heat player

We will be competitive but not suck

It's top 10 protected.

what's the news on Bosh? is he actually going to Houston?

PLEASE DON'T GO BOSH.

its so surreal. we were 3 more wins away from a three peat. sigh. whatever.

Wade doesn't deserve a tank season.

For sake of discussion let us assume Bosh stays and that Miami give Haslem some type of deal as compensation for opting out. Do you try to target free agent available now or hold out for next year's class and hope that a core of Bosh and 75 games Wade can still be a decent 2nd round playoff team?

2017 is unprotected.
15 and 16 is to 10 protected I think.

I think this news will take a weight off Napier's shoulders, that was way too much pressure to put on a rookie.. we drafted him because of Lebron but to expect him to be the difference in a championship team is too much. Now I expect him to play a lot looser in summer league.

Since this is about the Heat and not just LeBron, here's hoping Bosh stays (even though he probably won't) we now have cap to go after Bledsoe and/or Monroe.

Hope the heat are classy and give McBob and Granger the option to pull out of their deal if they want to.

One thing that I wanna add is that IMO the roster pull was bigger than the "home pull". If Wade was still in his late prime or declining gradually I don't think the would have left. That's probably the only "negative" thing I will say about him (if it is negative at all).

This is very true. The league will now give him all those calls he deserves.

probably had already mentally prepared for this like me.

I think it has to be more about only playing 4 years, and never being our player.

It really depends on who we can sign right now. There are still plenty of very interesting free agents left who could be brought in to retool and compete for a championship again. Besides, if Wade returns, we can't do him dirty again and waste a season or two like we did from 08 to 10.
