Wes Mathews just signed for 3.6Mil after playing lockdown defense on Butler and hitting 3s at a good clip. And we paid Leonard 9Mil to cheerlead. I'm hoping this is all a prep for a trade :pray:

Seriously though, he was great for us in the regular season. We had one of the best records in the league up until he got injured and we were forced to go with Bam at the 5.

I think this may mean Crowder is gone. Perhaps they sensed a larger deal for Jae elsewhere and signed Leonard

I was definitely in on bringing in Cousins.

Meyer's at 10 mil is terrible but apparently, Jimmy wanted him back.

"Running it back" doesn't work if Crowder isn't re-signed. His replacing Leonard in the SL made us a completely different team -- the team that made a Finals run

We need another offensive weapon. I don't care about bringing all of them back. I'd rather bring back Jae with this money instead of Leonard.
I hope a trade is coming soon to get us better as the east gotten.

Big men have notoriously been over paid. If Leonard is worth the full MLE, we had no chance at landing ibaka or even baynes for that matter.

He was the starter for us the majority of the regular season before he got hurt. And once he did, things started to go down hill a little bit. Plus he seems like a great teammate and fits the culture. All things considered, he's probably worth keeping even if we had to overpay a little bit.

We are running it back... but this time it is on 1 year deals! This is definitely a better summer than the Waiters and Johnson summer.

This ^^^ Don't understand the Leonard signing. Jimmy can like him all he wants but no other team in the NBA is offering Leonard more than 3-5mil per season, so I don't know why we felt the need to.

Leonard deal will be a steal.... in the long run if we get rid of KO 18mil. Start him all season to get BAM his All Star numbers and then trade him deadline if need be. But once KO is gone 10 will look so team friendly
