I tend to believe that if we were getting Lebron that Mike Miller is a little bit redundant of a signing.

it also leaves the return of UD in serious question.

I think this MM deal is offered ONLY if Lebron is NOT coming to Miami.

unless they all take less and it means we can get MMiller and UDonis. :D

Rising, is it harder in the NBA to get the superstars to win a title, or the role players?

So which should you do first when you have the chance?

We old-timers that've been through this process a couple times (Zo/Juwan offseason, Shaq trade) and know for certain that role players can be found EASILY. When we traded for Shaq, everyone was like "They have no PF to play with him now! Oh no!" But it turns out, Haslem fit beautifully. You can go back through Riley's history and find DOZENS of role players he's found and turned into something valuable.

Relax. Let's focus on the core of stars first. Role players are the easy part.

Exactly. Why is it that idiots like Mike Wilbon think it is so hard to find role players. The stars make the role players, not the other way around. John Paxon, BJ Armstrong, Steve Kerr, Robert Horry, Kendrick Perkins, and Derek Fisher only become solid role players because they played with superstars. Cobbling together some role players has been done plenty of times on championship teams and it will be done again.

Chalmers-Wade-Bron-Bosh-whoever (Magloire? Big Z? Big Ben? Someone? Anyone?)

could go huge with Wade-Miller-Bron, at the 1-2-3 in crunch time, all being ball handlers

This just in...Broussard also says that Dwyane Wade and Siovaughn should get back together. Get out of here with this Shaq nonsense. Mickey and Riley want to win, but do you think they would ever let that fat malcontent back with the organization? No way.

Didn't Shaq refer to Chris Bosh as "Ru Paul" last season? Pretty sure that rules out Shaq unless they patch things up.

I don't think so. A team with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade has a lot of line up flexibility as both can play multiple positions, including the point. Besides, adding a dead eye shooter to a Wade/LBJ/Bosh core is a must. Mike Miller is a guy that you can plug in at the 2 or 3 in various situations. He'd get his 25-30 minutes on this team and be well worth it, IMO.

Colangelo looks so nervous and unsure in his press conference that it's really really funny!

I really think LeBron would be the psuedo PG and Miller would play SF. It allows for flexibility and they can all co-exist on the floor together.

The Heat have offered Mike Miller a five-year deal, worth approximately $27 million-$30 million.

Miami has given Miller a deadline of Thursday night to decide.

Miller has been told by the Heat that they are 'confident' LeBron James will be joining the Heat.

Weirdest story I've heard yet, how will the Heat sign Miller and get Bosh and Lebron?

Haywood gone, just resigned!

The Dallas Mavericks are close to announcing a six-year contract with center Brendan Haywood. A team official told the Dallas Morning News it was on the 1-inch line.

Yahoo! Sports reported the terms have been agreed and are six years, $55 million.

For the Mavericks, that's a huge commitment. Another possible big-man target, Jermaine O'Neal, reportedly has agreed to terms with the Boston Celtics for two years and nearly $12 million.

The Mavericks have told the 7-footer that they plan on him being their starting center, his agent Andy Miller said recently.

They were also able to pay Haywood more than anybody else, and Miller considers his client a top-10 NBA center.

Sorry if im late
