NO! NO! NO! At least win the championship before we commit to destroying our cap for the next 5 years.

I dont wanna talk offseason stuff yet but lets be clear.. Gabe, Strus and Caleb are all players that are good based on their circumstance. Theyre good roleplayers, nothing more than that. On a different team, they would have never made a roster in the nba. Their effectiveness probably doesnt translate. Spo and the coaching staff along with our vets are major factors as to why theyre effective.

If some team offers either one of them crazy money.. they should take it.. Just imagine if Portland offered Gary Payton II something like 5 years 80 million.. what a horrendous contract that wouldve been. Virtually untradeable. We cant be handing out Duncan Robinson type money to them or much worse, tyler herro money. To those players.

Now if they re willin to take 10-12 million per.. then you obviously get them to sign for that much because they remain an asset.

If they get paid somewhere else then good luck to them. Enjoy their success. Heat can find others to fill those roles.

lol so embarrassing. It's obvious how garbage their "analytics" are. They should quietly retire it until they hire better people to do it, but nope. Still promoting it.

Almost everyone is playing at an insane level obviously but I gotta shout Bam for his improved screening. He’s “holding” a little longer, setting solid, not afraid to commit a foul or two in order to establish his physicality. Not to mention rolling hard af.

He realized he has to provide some of what PJ did during the last run. Pushing the line of illegality and decency lol, making the Celtics cry to the refs, contributing to making them fold. Despite the drubbing I appreciate him and Zells stepping up after Kevin left early. Rob Will is a two-way efficiency king all he does is put the ball though the rim and prevent people from shooting. The team box out and gang rebounding has been downright exquisite.

1. Bam has always been that dude on screens. Literally elite in that regard.

2. Rob Will is literally a weak point as he can’t play in space. When he’s forced into action on defense he’s a kangaroo on skates. He’s a big boost when everyone else he’s on the court with are playing well to keep him hidden in his off ball help defense and finishing role. Once he gets forced into more action than that he becomes a playoff liability

Having said that...it is just flat out amazing to watch our guys peak at the right time. Gabe, Strus, Martin, hell.. DUNCAN...freaken DUNCAN is even peaking at the right time. Duncan even drew a crap ton of Tatum the last 2 games.

It is win or go home time, high stakes basketball and they are taking turns being the best player in the NBA....clutch as hell....

I wonder what in the world is going though Herro's head.....he has to feel some heat, he is a shot maker on a team of shot makers, and even Duncan seems to be better on defense then him.

I really like Herro, but you cant break up these rotation...he better be eased back in...you simply can't take dudes in this kind of rythm off the court.

Yeah Herro off the bench.. putting him straight into the starting line up would be like magic Vs lakers finals where rafer Alston was balling… Jameer Nelson came back for the finals and started and I personally think that’s what cost the magic in that finals.

Greg...

After you brought it up pre-game, I ended up watching Rob Williams almost the entire game....dude you were spot on, yeah Martin killed him....sure....but even Duncan looked like he was shot out of a cannon attacking him....

I am sure Miami wants nothing more then 40 mins of Williams in game 4.
