If we would’ve shot the ball better and had an actual scorer we would have won the series. We held the nuggets to their worst shooting performance of the playoffs. We gotta stop going with this narrative that we were too small.

Uhm. So we have enough size? did you guys did not get tired of those countless offensive rebounds by Braun, Brown and Gordon?

Nuggets also average 9 more rebounds per game against the Heat. So yea, size does not matter

80% of size issue can be fixed by simply upgrading Struss and Vincent/Lowry as starters or playing them together, they committed the worst crimes against humanity letting their opponent counterparts guards/wings outrebound and out Hussle them to rebounds in the entire playoffs. We really were not bad on the rebound battle as it relates to the PF/Center position outside of the Duncan Robinson PF minutes. The reason we lost was literally like everyone else keeps saying, scoring, we held the Nuggets to their worst offensive production, and their role players struggled mightily. Their 1-2 punch did all the work on the offensive end for them.

From your boy lol?

Nah, unfortunately I won't be getting anymore sauce nuggets, lets just say someones internship for a certain organization over and is now working elsewhere since its completion. I said this because, most of the Miami executives will be going on vacation starting soon, but not before getting all their ducks in a row prior to the draft. So any hard pushes if anything happens will probably be leaked this weekend prior to the draft next week or right on draft day. so I say between Monday and Thursday the craziness will start on Shams & Woj updates.

You offed soggy nuggets source?!?!

Smaller gets more PPM's pumps per minute. The larger they are the longer the stride to get a full stroke, thus you cannot get the same PPM's. so be happy will your small little man-dingo, it means your stroking like speed racer on curves tight to the ground revving at full speed getting almost 3 times the strokes, your girl knows exactly why smaller is better.

I have a ton of Carnival stock, because it was dirt cheap during covid...it has been moving on up as of late, and most analyst have it back in the buy now territory. It is still not even half of what it was at pre-covid but it is up 50% already this year.

IF money was not being spent due to the covid impact on the cruise industry .....that is starting to be forecast into pre-covid levels of volume,

Micky might just feel better about long term Basketball spending again.

To be fair, he wasn't a big spender even when his coffers where overflowing with gold in his prime!!! He treats the organization like a big business, they make business like decisions or nothing, not expense toy decisions of waste like other organizations.

Would size help? Sure. Is it our biggest need? No.

Let’s get this all star elite 3 level scorer out of the way and we’ll worry about the rest next

If we made our shots you don’t need a rebound, because clearly we defended them well enough to where it didn’t matter if they got the offensive board; shooting terrible from 3 and one of their worst offensive outputs in the playoffs yet still won.

Its all a dominoes effect, part of the problem is after game two they started defending our 3 point shooters very well, Jimmy looking to pass instead of score didnt put pressure close to the rim, they did not have to overcommit and send two defenders at Jimmy so they were able to stay closer to our shooters, besides Jimmy we did not have anybody to put pressure on their interior defense and that collapsed our total gameplan, because we could not find ourselves open beyong the arc like before.

If the trade goes through with Herro, Lowry, Duncan for Beal, Gafford and Wright I think we shed around 7m for next season.

Do we resign Gabe and strus with the rest ofthat as back up players then look for vet mins? Or keep one of Gabe and strus

Pg: Wright/Vincent
SG: Beal/Strus/Oladipo
SF: Butler/Cain
PF: Martin/Highsmith/Cain
C Bam/Gafford/Yurt/Robinson

Is not a very popular opinion here Size does matter, i happen to be one who thinks it does, i would definitely welcome more size on the team especially to solve our rebounding woes but its obvious we also needed more scoring and we should focus on it, even more than size.

I can agree with this, our scoring is a bigger focus but it’s not like we couldn’t use more size. But I won’t agree that’s the main reason why we lost the finals.

that final game's score of 89 points opened my eyes, cant believe we could not even score 90 points to a Denver's defence which is not even elite.

Without question the series is still going on. Unless the added rest from taking care of business against Boston allowed us to really dominate

That's an inherent limitation of playing zone--you're not on your man to box out. No system is perfect. Defense was better than anyone did against Denver
