Sure while he helped stop Miami from blow the game wide open the first 3 quarters with all the misses. Normally when you don't have your shot going you either quit hunting your shot or find some other way to score like getting to the line or wait to get an easy bucket.

This is what I'm talking about with Herro, people will completely ignore how bad he was all game because he made a few shots at the end. He is the definition of a scoring 6th man you don't have to rely on unless they're on that night.

If Heat didn't have enough pieces to put together an attractive offer for Lilliard then I don't see how they have enough for Mitchell. You can say Blazers GM made it personal, but I doubt it. They just didn't want Herro, Jovic, JJJ, Martin, and whatever else the Heat were offering. And Heat aren't giving up Bam for someone like Lillard or Mitchell.

At this point I don't see how this team can get as good as they need to to compete with the good teams. MAybe tanking for a few years like Celtics or landing someone like Jokic in the second round. But I don't see either of those happening.

Herro isn't forced into anything. In his mind he's Devin Booker, and every single shot he puts up goes in. He has Dion Waiters disease. He thinks he's a star when in reality he's a wonky satellite.

Doesn’t matter as the seasons gone on he’s been phased more and more out of the offense with his shot attempts going down each month as we added Rozier and had Jimmy and Herro in and out of the lineup.

I know this is a hard night for you Herro guys but the season basically just ended thanks to him

Why is everyone **** so hard on Herro? He made some tough shots down the stretch we didn't lose cause of him we lost cause of turnovers and bad defence.

I'm tough on Herro because of the money. He's paid to be a franchise guy and he's practically useless if he can't score. His defense is terrible and he's a shot chucker. Spo tried to make him a PG when he's a spot up shooter. Plus, he's very injury prone. I don't hate the guy. I just don't feel there is long-term success with him as a cornerstone piece.

I knew we were in trouble when I saw Herro and Caleb as our starting back court. Playing Herro at point is fu*king stupid.

I don't disagree on there being issues with his role and fit I'm talking strictly about tonight.

When you are one of the franchise pieces and getting paid top dollar, you are expected to perform in the big moments. This is a key game and he couldn't make a basket and had some awful turnovers. It's not solely on Herro. There is a lot of blame to go around. But Herro is one of the big 3 of this team and if he's terrible, it hurts the team more than when a role player sucks. Just how fans think.

But you gotta start with Bam and then go to Herro. L is on those 2. But some here wanna give Bam a pass while heaping all the blame on Herro. Both of needed to be better

A lot of people deserve blame. I think people have a tendency to target 1 player but like I said, plenty of blame to go around. I have gotten frustrated with Bam's lack of scoring plenty of times whether that's on him or Spo. The point is our top guys aren't scoring consistently. Our offense is atrocious for a reason.

Embiid was 6-17 from the field getting bailed out by free throws all night. He’s the would’ve been back to back mvp if not for injury, idk wtf else yall want defensively.

If Miami kept playing defense well in the 2nd half they would have won the game, Miami can be suffocating on defense UNLESS.... they just have to put in some non-defensive players. Miami gave up 66 points in the 2nd half, holding Philly to a very manageable 55 point 2nd half and Miami would have easily won. Wright only played 22 minutes for whatever reason, the defense led to some easy scores for Miami.

For some reason when we play defense everyone forgets what's offense.

I don't hate Bam. I love the guy. I love his defense. His defense on Embiid was solid and at the end of the day Embiid is Embiid. He's going to cook anyone not named Marc Gasol. I just hate when we pretend Bam is something he isn't on offense. I'll die on the hill with 3ammy3uck3ts that Bam is the best defender in the WORLD right now. But offensively he's not that guy.

I also know 3ammy3uck3ts thinks I'm this big Herro fan or stan. I'm not. I'd traded him in an instant for Dame, KD, Mitchell and I'd consider Beal. But honestly Herro is the only scorer we currently have right now that's willing to empty the clip. Well maybe Rozier now.

Tyler was WIDE open consistently thanks to Bam, he had the best looks out of anyone on the team and it wasn’t even close. He just **** the bed. $30M for a scorer that can’t score
