Good sportsmanship there at the end, always like to see that.

(well I kinda want Dorell back too, though)

Dorell didn't show much this series, and he's still super inconsistent. I really thought he disappeared at times aside from game 3. IMO there are better role players out there, though I wouldn't mind him back for cheap since his defense is solid (Not always) and he's got a nice 3 point shot.

Great Job by the Celtics. They came to play and we didn't. Glen Davis"We knew everything they were going to do, so I credit that to the coaching staff"

You can't shoot as poorly as we did, and turn the ball over like we did, and expect to win.

We played great for stretches, and we played piss poor for stretches. On the road, that doesn't work.

I respect the fight we showed to cut the lead to 3 pts.

Rio and Joel deserve some props for their play tonight. UD was good on the glass. Wade was himself. Nobody else showed up. Period.

Season Over.

Celt's in Five.

I've said all year, this play to win now agenda is moronic because the Heat will almost assuredly lose in the first and overplaying all these vets will just stunt the growth of younger players like Chalmers, Dorrell and you know who.

Whatever the case, the Heat will need to do a whole lot more than add Amare and/or Bosh to be contenders.

And so it begins... Our offseason to build a dynasty.

I hate the Celtics. But they are a flat out better team than we are. Wade wasnt a blistering inferno today which means we had no chance. Cant wait to meet these delicate divas next year after our force of nature/team is built.

I have always liked Joel. He is solid and the heat don't necessarily need a C that scores.

We hold a team option on Joel I'm pretty sure, so he will be back.

It's actually a player's option.. so with all that money available, I think he opts out and see if he can get more...worst, he resigns with Miami for his minimum contract again.

Of course, this would be Beasley's fault as he is the whipping boy

Q played great for what was expected of him, so was Wright, and Joel.

Chalmers played well last game. You guys are too emotional in y'all posts.

Wade, Joel, and Chalmers all went balls out this entire series, IMO.

Q, Haslem, and Dorell also always bring the hustle.

One thing you can say about Chalmers (outside of Wade) is he doesn't freeze up like the rest of this team. We need those type of guys during big games and games that are not just at home.

I really like Joel too. You can't fault him for not scoring, since on any other team he wouldn't be getting so many minutes. As a back up and for his contract he is an excellent player and hardworker.

And nice game Chalmers way to step up on the road and show some heart, now work triple time on dribbling and keeping someone in front of you I think you will be one of the few back.

Oh well, I'm not sad. We had a nice series, Wade was awesome but at the end of the day, it was just the final year of our quick rebuild. So I'm okay with it. Except for game 2, every game was close and we did not get embarassed.

Congrats on a well-played series.

I really hope Wade stays in MIA. You guys just have to put a better supporting cast around him and you'll be back in the race for a championship in no time.

After all, he assembled the 2006 squad, got us a championship, broke that team off and put us in this situation where we are waiting for the summer of 2010 over having a shot at making some noise in the playoffs..... let's top blaming Wade, Spo, Beasley and Haslem...

Remember, you can't blame Riley for none of this, you'll lose the respect of some of the posters(Ha!)
