Ethan was employed by Bleacher report, who was contracted to cover LBJ and the Heat, when LBJ went back to Cleveland he had to cover LeBron in Cleveland(which is why he spent so much time in Cleveland) and he still wrote about the Heat when he could, hell, he was on the former 1-3 hour with Leroy and Eric Reed almost 3 times a week talking about the Heat.
-He doesn't even like Bleacher Report because he was trying to get out of his contract so he could stay in South Florida because he didn't enjoy spending so much time in Cleveland but it got messy and that's why he's always throwing BR shade.
-Ethan has been on and off the CBS Basketball podcast for over a year now and contributed for just as long, they're just giving him a title. He still works for the Herald and he still has his show @ The Ticket. Being credited as an insider is almost as important as changing your twitter handle. So you guys can save your "good riddance posts".
-He's not 'leaving' anything, and more importantly, he's a Journalist, he's not obligated to work for any organization and I'm not sure how or when some users on this board got so up in their own ass about Ethan and started building their own narrative over a damn sports writer. Some of you gusy act like he works for the Heat. For the most part he's a solid columnist, who definitely has sources, more on the player's side of things rather than from the organization(like LeBatard) and there's nothing wrong with that.
I don't know why I typed that out but idk
