Stay inside everyone. We got Netflix, Disney plus, pc/console games, skype, Murder Mystery, facetime, amazon prime shipping. Few reasons right now to go outside. Even if you aren’t high risk, there’s no saying you will live well after this thing. The long term effects of this virus are still unknown, but could include scarring of the lungs. Might feel better after recovery, but may not realize the full damage to your body till years later.

How do you handle your packages when delivered ?

Or are you more care-free in that aspect. I normally just wear gloves and then toss the box out.

i think its over, as cases start piling up players and owners will want to keep it safe and within reason i think.i mentally just accepted the fact that this season is pretty much done and maybe and just maybe the start of the next season too unless something dramatic changes....owners and players are going to feel its impacts but its unavoidable at this point.

No way there's no next season. Things should be a lot better by the end of the year if every state locks down for a couple months. You can have on starting Dec or even January if you go to down to 66 game season, get rid of the allstar break and have the 1st round be best of 5.

For this season it still possible. A lost season would mean loosing a lot of money the NBA will absolutely try to make it work if possible. The latest they can restart the season is probably July. That is 4 months away so they atleast have 2 months before they have to make a decision. They would need to test everyone to make sure noone has the virus and probably have the games in a lockdown environment. It'd have to be shortened. They could play every team to 70 games, do top 7 for playoffs with top seed getting a bye and the 1st round is best of five. They could relatively have the season over in 6 weeks. But that would depend if majority of the players are virus free.

It's trivial but it would be nice to have the season back. If we do then that means things probably got a lot better

If you are at home and know that the package was delivered at the door. Leave it outside (time depending on how safe your neighborhood is) then pick it up. I give it a quick wipe with antibacterial handwipes and take the stuff out of the box/package, then toss it, wash my hands with soap.

Avoiding the direct contract with a mailman (no no to opening the door) and washing hands are a must imo

Wearing gloves is a good idea but I'd keep them outside and leave them outside after you get rid of the box. We don't know how long the virus survives on any surfaces, but we don't wanna take any chances.

All in all I'm not too worried about getting packages, it's probably a lot safer than going to get groceries at this point.

good info iggs, I like. Yeah I do have a camera on top of my door which covers a good view so should be fine. But as a person, I am very impatient so I may just grab the box asap, but with proper caution ofcourse.

Its why I built it up from the ground up circa 2011. Almost a decade now. Probably spent 7-8k in total.

For dumbbells I have ironmasters, that go from 5-120lbs. Probably was my best investment.

Was looking for Chalm’s Harry Potter gif on google and stumbled on this:

Image

See that 7 game banner? That was during a full season. All of those were.

Banners don’t matter if your season is cancelled. Even Chalm won a banner this season. We should have seen the signs.

Ones that you attach to the door frame will slightly damage the paint, wall, door frame. But that's all you need for most of your lats and back muscles imo unless you're a goodboy.

wow that must be a noice setup

Just looked up the ironmasters, even the basic dumbbell set that goes up to 75lb is like 800CAD. And you have the expansion pack too. But I guess it's a one time cost, and they're basically indestructible

I had to watch it again. Almost unrecognizable athleticism. Something must have happened even before he entered the league that was not made public.
