I just hope we don't face the Nuggets when we go back to finals next year.

If both KD and Booker score 60 pts per game and still can't overcome it. I don't know which will lol

Plenty. So we can defend straight up and not rely on a cheesy zone defense.

No one can stop him one-on-one of course, but a big body to cover would be ideal. The Lakers did it in the bubble.

The same Lakers with the same bodies that got completely annihilated by him and couldn't even win one game in their series.

The Lakers didnt win but the point differential between them and the Nuggets and between us and the Nuggets is just strange. Numbers dont lie but sometimes they do in how they are interpreted. We did win a game but we also shot like 50% from the 3 in that game which clearly was not the norm. On avg the Nuggets beat us by 10 points each game thats even factoring our one win. The Nuggets beat the Lakers on avg by 6 points.

We just need to get better and have our star players show up and play like stars.

The funny thing is we are getting bigger if we make this trade plus the players we already have that haven’t gotten run and are a year deeper into their career.

Nikola Jovic 6’11 239
Daniel Gafford 6’10 234
Delon Wright 6’5 185
Orlando Robinson 6’10 235
Omer Yurtseven 6’11 275
Jamal Cain 6’6 191

Point differential is moot when the discussion is who held Denver from being less efficient offensively.

Denver's offensive rating in their 4 series:

MIN: 117.2
PHX: 120.0
LAL: 122.3
MIA: 113.7

Heat did the best and it wasn't even remotely close.

Lots of knowledgeable posters in here when it comes to this cap/salary/s&t stuff. I have no clue. I just want a really good shiny new player the can put the round bouncy thing in the hole thingy.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

The Lakers also shot better than Miami but Denver shot worse against us which is what makes the difference on the offensive side. Miami did a better job defensively, however the Lakers scored far better which kept the games close. People are also not giving credit to the Nuggets, their defense on the wings is better than people give them credit for. They defended the perimeter a lot better than any other playoff team in the last after the from the semi finals all the way to end. The team that was able to give them the biggest problem on the perimeter was Phoenix with their two premier scorers. That's how the point differential is explained.

Yurt was an oaf in the speed category, slow azz molasses with steel concrete filled boots on every time we saw him on the court in garbage time, I am sure there was zero confidence in him, I mean the coaches look at this guys in practice vs each other. We are problebly one of the better teams out there that use undrafted players from one day to the next based on their impact and work hard attitudes. If he looked any which way dominant he would of gotten minutes, Orlando Robinson got minutes over him even after he came back from injury that should tell you everything you need to know about why he didn't get playing time.

When we make it back I’m praying it’s the nuggets, the Calvary is coming and it’s time for revenge.

Might be in the minority here but I liked what Yurt showed last season. Going into the season wasn't he supposed to be a key member of the rotation until the foot injury?

Nuggets scoring:

Game 5 - 94
Game 4- 108
Game 3 - 109
Game 2 - 108
Game 1 - 104

I’m not impressed, let’s add some firepower and run it back

Was pretty **** up. I know we're not a leading scoring team but that BS offensive display we showed in the Finals is haunting.

A Wizards mod liked this trade:

Miami for Lowry/Robinson/Jovic/1st round pick.

That would be pretty wild. Keep Herro to spark the bench. Or trade him for something else.

Careful of what you wish for brotha. If Murray did not get injured in 2021, they probably have a dynasty now. That's how good Jokic is.

We'll see. I much prefer a perimeter-oriented team to come out of the west. Spo's defense is tailored and made for these players.

They didn’t do anything special against us and Murray got clamped after Spo figured him out the last 2 games. Dame Kyrie or beal and we win that series.

Hell, I’m hard on Herro and hoping he’s traded but he would’ve likely torched Denver’s drop coverage and we win.

Stay tuned my guy!

The 2nd super tax apron was formed to prevent super teams from forming or Golden State situation where tax money and penalties don’t mean anything to them. The penalties now are pretty harsh and most likely will be avoided by us. This means we have to unload a salary like Duncan’s and trade or stretch Oladipo’s contract once he opts in so we can reasonably fill out the roster and to have any chance of resigning our own. Please keep this in mind. We can definitely make this Beal deal work but we are going to have to pay in order to dump a salary. Good thing the price for Beal will afford us the opportunity.
