If the Heat keep pushing towards the young players, than you know they are truly punting this season for the sake of internal development.

Minnesota has a PG problem but they're in the 2nd apron.

How about a trade centered around sending Rozier to Minnesota, getting back Randall.
Miami would also have to drop around another 10 million, so you're talking about sending out Robinson for under 10-million-dollar player in return to make it work.

For instance, Robinson could be sent to Detroit for Beasley and save a little bit of money.

I’d rather move Bamonte down to the 4 and baptize Ware by fire than to acquire Randle. Wolves fans have already soured on him and its only been a few months.

This is correct. Shams has to create shock value story lines in order to prove his worth to the network. The Suns rumor was by far absolutely bogus.

i think were lucky that this CBA is so crippling which may be why Jimmy isnt really turning up the disrespect because there is no market for him unless he opts out and takes less in spite of us

Just my opinion but I think it's more the fact that Jimmy likes/respects his teammates, coaching staff and organization as a whole...The dispute here seems to be about years/money which will eventually work itself out one way or the other, but there's nothing that's been reported that would lead me to believe we're veering off into a territory where Jimmy would feel like he has to act out.

We are top 10 in offense and defense-championship teams have both.

So we’re getting a notification tonight or tomorrow that we’ve finally signed DSJ right?

I’ll be very shocked if this doesn’t happen. He’s not as good of a shooter as Dru but he’s a much better defender (and Dru is our 3rd best on the end unless Jimmy is engaged) more explosive player and better playmaker.

Isaiah Stevens has been balling too hard to not get the call up. Size be damned, he’s a pure PG and done everything asked of him in Sioux Falls. He’s up next.

Stevens is not on a two-way. He's a free agent basically

My assumption is Christopher will get converted to a standard contract and Stevens will get a 2way.

Still don't even know what the make of that that dude.

Dru Smith getting canned is so lame. I was so ready to necro my summer post about him balling out when the echo was beating that man down.

I hope the prognosis on Dru isnt the case..I feel for that guy, worked his ass off to rehab from the ACL tear just to be slammed by fans for getting a two way deal, and then was proving everybody wrong just to face another potential season ending injury. Some guys just have awful luck, wish him a speedy recovery
