For the numerologists out there: Shawne Williams to wear No. 8 for Heat, Reggie Williams to wear No. 55.

- Dagger to Beasley's Heat career
- Folks can use their J-Will jerseys again :D

So that really means no Beasley next year? :noway:

Ray Allen's CocoPlum home was invaded by two teens earlier today. Teens said they found boxes and bubble wrap.

Lol yeah. Read that story earlier. Definitely not a good look for the security of his home or the area if two teens from a party next door were just able to stroll in through the back.

But, I think it goes without saying that he is most likely going to be wearing another jersey sometime this season.

Yeah, cause Beasley has been so impressive in his Pro career. At some point you have to trade potential for individual responsibility. Beasley is a bust and has hasn't exactly been snapped up by teams for the Vet minimum. He's halfway through his career and no one wants him on the cheap. He's had multiple chances on multiple teams and utterly failed.

Wasn't expecting Allen to stay with the Heat anyway but goodluck to where ever he goes.

No, just facts. Look at players that were drafted far below him that have been successful NBA players. No one said they were held back by coaches, never got a decent shot or were unfairly regulated to scrub status. How many teams and coaches has Beasley burned through, again ? He's not some rookie who didn't get a shot.

I'm just sick of all the Beasley is a victim rhetoric. Beasley has no one to blame but himself. He never built his game beyond Ruckers Park level. That's on him. Danny Green got cut twice from the Spurs and used the experience to get back to the NBA as a starter. Beasley didn't.

I disagree about Beasley being halfway through his career :eyebrows:

As for Ray, Heat have 15 guys signed and he's not one of them. I think it's a pretty clear indication that the team isn't waiting on him. They've moved on.

He's 25. will he play until 50? LOL He was drafted in 2008. That's 6 years ago. I'd say a 12-14 year career is the minority standard for most NBA players. Average career for an NBA player is 6 years. Beasley can't catch on to any team despite being had for the Vet minimum while getting money from the Suns. Halfway was generous.

I meant his career is closer to being OVER, not halfway through
