Deng is a killer matchup for any team that still plays traditional bball. This season he's struggled when teams have matched small with small but a team like the Hornets who tries to play 7 footers like Frank at the PF spot are just asking to get killed.

Anybody got any adjustments that they want to see in game 2?

I think the obvious one is to foul less, I like getting up into them and forcing them to drive into Hassan but I felt that we overextended a bit in game 1.

Clean that up and offensively Wade and Goran both passed well but it'd be nice if Goran shot better and if Wade got to the line some.

Not much else to say when we won by 30... Lol

Do it again!

Get those big booties in the post some more. All year people have been complaining about the booty ban, but they only had to look on their screens to find the biggest booties of all :)

That's EXACTLY how i see this series going.

We take Game 2. Charlotte probably blows us out in Game 3 on their turf. And then when it looks like Hornets are back & only need to win Game 4 in their home to even the series, & the public thinks they will, we surprise everybody and take Game 4. We then finish them off @ AAA in game 5.

This series is not going to pull any real revenues for the league. The shorter the series the better. I also believe the league wants us to face the Cavs in the ECF - that would be a ratings bonanza for Silver. The shorter the series the less risks to our aging vets, such as Wade especially.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

QUIZ wrote:Hassan will have many more chances to win DPOTY in the future. The biggest hurdle is being a part of a good team. We only won 48 games, regardless of impact he wasn't going to get it over Green and Kawhi who both played on much better squads.

If we finish with a top 2 seed next season and he's still leading the league in block he'll have a legit chance at the award. I hope he at least makes first team all defense.

Best defensive center in the league already QUIZ.

The league is trying to take big men out of equation by tweenies jacking up 3s.. Hassan is proving that bigs are still effective and can dominate

I agree that we will need more wins, but Kawhi is the best defensive player on the best defense team (PPG allowed).. that's pretty convincing in voters eyes. We will need to pick it up a notch defensively as a team for Hassan to have a chance next year or beyond.

Marc Gasol won it over LeBron in 2013 mainly because Memphis was the best defensive team (again PPG allowed..).. it seems like they have been consistent with the criteria...

Word Up! Stern & now Silver are still wanting the focus off the Big man in order for the flashier guards to shine. Higher, quicker scores, more entertaining = more revenues and ratings. In a just & fair world Hassan is top 2 at worst.

Am I the only one that was yelling at the TV yesterday about the calls?? It's the Playoffs, I thought they let them play a bit more physical. Some of those fouls called where nothing.

Heat should jump early in this game and have at least a double digit lead for psychological edge goin in game 3.
Deng is terrific, and IMo the Hornets will respect him this time..
Could this be the last season of Deng in Miami? Heat only has arround $38m of cap space
