Waiters should just go to the highest bidder, F loyalty. I wonder if Denver or Milwaukee will make strong offers for him.

Dion so underappreciated amongst these circles. Put yourself in his shoes.

Everyone wants to be Stephen Curry Metta, everyone wants to be supermaxed at 12:01 am, few are good enough to warrant that though. I can wholeheartedly understand why he might feel neglected but he should also understand why Hayward is plan A and he is plan B. If he doesn't he's delusional. It's not like we aren't offering to circle back, but to make him a priority requires more results than 20 good games and a statically average season.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra are flying to San Diego to give you a goodbye kiss on their way to singing Gordon Hayward. What more do you want, Waiters?!

I agree. We all know Dion has an ego. Riley wouldnt be flying to cali to talk with Waiters just for nothing. He'll talk some sense into him. He'll be fine. Could also be a formal goodbye and bringing Hayward's contract to San Diego.

If Waiters signs elsewhere and Hayward somehow picks another team we could still sign another FA with his money. Its not like we will be stuck with nothing. Maybe we can even get one of those one year deals if it comes to that.

Bottom line - signing with the Heat for $2.9m is the best decision Dion has made. He's gonna get paid, either by us or somebody else. He can't be mad.

Honestly, if he goes and we don't get Gordy, i'm cool with rolling out TJ and JRich as our main 2 guard option. Worst case, take a flier on McLemore for cheap and see if we can Dion him.

Who's ass do I need to kick BG89?

You've always been a great poster on the Heat forum. It sucks that you're a a Boston fan, but you've represented very well whenever you drop by.
