The winner of this game will either sweep a team in 4 or get series closer to 3-1. Only time will tell folks.

Spo would mold Giannis into a champion. He needs to enroll in Heat university for a four year degree at the minimum.

I love Jimmy's determination and confidence, it reminds me of of old greats like Jordan, Wade, Kobe. And it's also a good example of why basketball is not ultimately captured by stats, and is extremely mental. There's a lot of guys in the league that have way more impressive stats (box stats or advance stats) in the regular season, including Giannis, but Jimmy is just so far ahead mentally. He is all tenacity and will, and it makes a huge difference in the playoffs.

Love the rest of this team, too, everybody is on the same page -- Dragic, Bam, Herro -- they all seem to have the same mindset.

I haven't woken up feeling like this on game day in a while, and not because of the diarrhea.

I think we are going to come out swinging trying to finish this off today. With how they looked in the 4th, we are a big run away from the bucks possibly quitting again.

id try to end it early. Similar to the final game vs OKC in the finals where we just phckucked them

That’s fine. He can win a championship as Scottie Pippen on this team. Just needs to buy into the system.

Would find a way to use his skillset on offense (or lack thereof), but his defense and rebounding would be a godsend. Really think our fast break potential could go through the roof.

Silver Fox Gogi throwing perfect lobs for Giannis? :reporter:
yes, but could they win a championship that way ? Don't think so, you would need a lot more

Plus he’s a great passer and shooing 58% FG with 38.5% from 3 and 80% FT in the post season so not bad on offense either. The last few years in GS he played 25-30 minutes per game in the playoffs, but only around 20 minutes per game on the Heat.

I think he can and will. He literally was in full on conservation mode throughout the season gearing up for the playoffs. Taking care of business today would also be huge in terms of getting our guys healthy and back to 100% before the next round

I could go for a 3-point barrage from Duncan and co to blow this thing up

Iggy Duncan, DJJ and Kelly all need to play more. Nunn and Myers can't be allowed to sniff the court. They are destroying our line ups. Myers especially is getting torched.

His ankle is cooked. I remember him saying it’s still bothering him in his last post-game conference. Poor fella.

The Heat are actually favored to win this game (-1). Finally getting some respect.

In other words, the NBA led by Adam Silver has put the refs on notice to ensure a sweep doesn’t happen. Book it. We will lose because the refs won’t let us win.

Wonder who's going to get the calls... it's a killer for the NBA TV deals this year to have any sweeps

Return to Miami Heat
