It depends on what DeRozan wants for a contract.

This is interesting because it's possible you can get Lowry, DeRozan and even Butler to take cuts in their upcoming contacts and extension to play together. Lowry may take a lower contract to go to Miami than NO, DeRozan may play ball to make sure he gets to play with Lowry and Butler and of course Butler may take a cut in his extension to make it all happen.

so tragic and iggy are gone. i feel bad for goran because he has been a pretty solid player for the heat til last season but changes must be made but not for just changing jerseys but for improving the team.


bringing more older players to the mix wont fix a thing.


the heat needs tall players, so that they can rebound better

solid pgs so that they can distribute the ball better

solid power forwards so that they can score better


better centers so they can be shot blockers


overall better players that will play with heart ands purpose to win.

When are we getting Lamarcus Aldridge too? I think the Heat have the inside track on "older is better". They see what Tom Brady is doing at 50 years of age, and are going to try and replicate it.
