Here's the problem for the cHeat trying to minimize Joker's effectiveness -- Bam can't stop him inside OR outside and he needs to do one of them. If Bam could do one, Spo could likely come up with some scheme that would account for the other. But . . . Bam can't stop either so the cHeat will lose.
Also, BTW, it's hard to win when the starting backcourt goes 1-10 for 2 points.
While the cHeat had a good year (yes, "had" because it's over), let's not forget the stroke of luck they had in each of their last three series (Giannis hurt; Randle hurt and underwent ankle surgery; Tatum hurt at the beginning of game 7). I know the cHeat are missing a few players too but let's not compare them the Giannis, Randle, and/or Tatum.

The series is eerie similar to the 2014 Finals series with Spurs.

-lost game 1 (AC game)
-won close game 2 (CB game-winner)
-lost game 3 by a big margin
-lost game 4 again by a big margin
-then we lost game 5 by leading big in the 1st half and Spurs just made a big run to win the title.

Hope the script is flip tomorrow and we bring this back to 305.

The way we're playing at home I'm not quite sure I want to watch us lose at home to Denver to end the series. I rather lose in 5 or 7.

With a total of 9 teams versus 4, New York has 9 championships versus 7 for Miami alone. If we include the rest of the state of FL (i.e. Tampa), that adds 5 more for FL. If you want to add college as well, then I'm guessing it goes even more in our favor. That being said, STFU and GTFO, bish.

I know you mention stats "since X's inaugural season" but it's not anyone's fault that these inaugural seasons did not occur until the '80s and '90s except for Miami fans (if there was a groundswell of support, the NHL, MLB, and NBA would have had teams there earlier).

Like i said the championship for this 8th seed play in Cinderella squad was beating Boston. Proud of this team and what they accomplished no matter what. We have no business being here but we defied the odds. Denver front line just proving to be too much with the deadly Murray in the backcourt.
